The search box on the main site sort of eliminates the need for lists. They're nice to have if you're just browsing, but otherwise I'm totally in favor of teaching people to think for themselves once in a while.

That said, people are morons. And getting rid of the master lists would get rid of my job. :wacko:

Baby food. With fruits.

It's not disgusting, tastes delicious, no fat and will help you recover.

Of course, Milady is the one with the medical knowledge, but whenever I have been feeling sick, to the point that any food causes me to throw up, fruit baby food helps me get better. ^_^

I've actually had it before, and it doesn't taste that bad (when my son didn't want to eat, I would take little samples to "show him what he was missing." It was actually not bad...), but I don't have any here. Partially because he's two, and doesn't eat that crap anymore. :P

I'm probably going to have some yogurt and cereal. Maybe. Depends if I can work up the energy to get over there. I just want to go back to bed...

I don't have any dietary recommendations for alleviating vomiting. Just eat whatever you're able to keep down, and keep yourself hydrated. :shrug:

Now, if you want to know how vomiting causes your body's acid-base balance to get messed up, I can rant about that. :wacko:

You can also organize threads by thread name when viewing a forum, which will organize all of the uploads in each section alphabetically. :shrug: I can understand the need for the master list, though, in that sometimes the search bar isn't always that helpful.

Still alphabetizing the NTSC-J uploads in Word, then it's time to transfer my 12+ pages of links over to the master list.

Like checking old threads.......some people only post in threads with such info, they don't post in the relevant dead links thread (but I'm sure you realise this).

Anyway, you get what I mean > you could be more pro-active and less of an automaton.

I haven't thrown up since last night/this morning, which is nice. Mostly right now I just feel exhausted, have a minor headache, and my stomach doesn't feel too great. I think the stomach is lack of food, though...

You're not mistaken. It's not necessarily bad for you, per se, but dairy products are hard to digest. It's better to just take clear liquids, especially if you've a limited amount of time to digest anything before you vomit it back up.

Hmm, I assumed it'd be the same as any other vB based site.
You should be able to search for just about anything really, especially since most of the threads I see have the filehosts in the title.

Maybe I should run some tests here to see how effective it is :lou:

Nah, I slept through most of the day. If I was still throwing up then I would probably be having chicken broth or something, which is what I usually eat when I'm vomitting sick. Of course, this one appeared out of nowhere, and I never thought to stock up on chicken broth on the off chance that I actually get sick, 'cause I rarely do.

Even if the vB search bar is pretty useful, the search bar on the main site is amazing. If you're looking for an upload, it's extremely useful. And since it searches the forums as well, there's no need to mess with the forum search function.

Unless you're looking for a specific topic rather than an upload, in which case you wouldn't be using a master list anyway.

Anyway, back to alphabetizing before I look at the PS2 section and see pages upon pages of from ethanbrand and lob, again. :rolleyes:
