Well this is my goodbye. Im sure some people would be happy to heae that im leaving but im just gonna say its not cuz of them im leaving. Don't know Mikey, but I'm apparently joining them... On December 23rd, my parents had the great idea to "take away my computer" (only the power cord), so to say. I am fucking 22 years old, the computer was bought and built by myself, and well, it's their house... :( Basically they think that I spend too much time on the innernets and the computer in general, even though I get nearly all outside info through it, and they decided that its best I sit my ass in front of the TV more often with them. That or go out with friends, which I find I do enough of. Plus I don't enjoy the news on TV. It's too burdening. Everything is about war or death, and I like to hear good things every now and then. Today no one is home (and I highly doubt they bothered for a keylogger, pfft...), so I ripped the power cord from our old compy and am unsing it now to power my comp.
I feel empty now that I can't use technology freely anymore (yes, this "punishment" includes video games too, but not TV, hmm...), and my parents really think that this session of cold turkey will really change me with my computer. And also, before anyone says, "Why don't you move out?", I can't. Firstly, I do not have nearly enough money, adn secondly, even if I were to find a roomamte to move in with, the 'rents said I am not able to take my/their car (I drive it, they pay for it except for gas). So they have backed me into a corner. Hopefully I will be back again in full force, but for now, it will be sparse days when everyone but myself is working. Peace out EPers, I will miss you all for some undetermined amount of time. See ya.
linkinkampf19, you shall be missed. Hopefully you'll be able to come back here when you want to and whenever you want to. I can somewhat understand what you're going through, at least I will have to return to that life once my father comes back.
