Oh, I set up the new computer in the living room too. It works with my network just fine.
I took the old possesed computer to the pawn shop, got $60 for it, and walked away happy.

I swear the family computer is possessed.
There are about 7 caps blown on the mobo, and everything is shitass old. Yet it runs like a dream.
Teeheeheehee @ title.
I ran my eMachines P4-1.6 for almost 5 years with no problems. I never figured out what killed it until I gutted it to sell the good parts...it was the plastic anchors the CPU heatsink anchored to. They broke (from age, I guess) and let the heatsink pull away, overheating the CPU. It would work for various amounts of time, sometimes for days on end, and then all at once, it woudl freak out.
I could have fixed it, but it I didn't find out in time. It was about time for a new PC anyway.
Ohh I see.
Talking about cellphones, mine has been broken for a long time, and I now use it as a clock. Someone called me but the bad thing here is that the speaker is broken, so they can hear me, but I can't hear them.
I got so pissed that I threw the phone real hard to the floor and I heard a little noise.
Voilá, it's working now!
