Might want to edit the name out. They are based entirely in HK, if I'm remembering correctly, so they are better off than MU was.

The only problem with that site is the domain w*******.ORG could be taken down since that's owned by Verisign Inc. (US listed stock market company).
But that is only the domain name. They can't do nothing about the servers afaik and that site would just change .ORG to something else that the US cannot control.
I take it that the shit is still hitting the fan?:sadchair:
So lame, I had a feeling this would happen because anyone with eyes and ears can tell most governments are slowly (actually quite quickly...) turning into nazis.
So uncool, the middle and lower class get fucked again while the rich get richer.
least the fbi finally got this up

nope the fucked up part is that MU is hong kong based
This is crazy how every file sharing site is going down. When the dust clears, we will be left to deal with cloud storage services backed by companies that support SOPA & PIPA.
Shit there is going to be nothing left to download at this rate, i wonder who will go down after all the file sharing sites?
So. . . are the torrents going to be closed too? WE are in PINCH!!!!!!!!!
Anon just put this up, its a global attack on Facebook and there asking everyone to join in.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVSQ3JIgIXE

Anon said on Twitter yesterday they wouldn't attack the sites they use to distribute their messages. (YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.)
I just put it up. Not sure if I would trust it. Most likely a fake, why would they let the world know.

So P2P is back in style? Do I need to download shit like limewire again? :dead:
For the record guys, anon died after chanology, these guys just use the mantra to steal all your valuable infos under the guise of "helping teh interwebs."(Just think about how much easier it would be to rob a bank if you had all the customers supporting you) That and the fact they aren't actually helping anything by doing this. (It's not even lulzy)
I'm just waiting for the Supreme Court case that topples this shit, it's the only way things are going to happen. It's how things are supposed to work here in 'merica but it's often a painfully slow process.
this is not good at all man......ppl need to stop being such :censored: and fight!
:sadchair:
I have a question why in the hell can't the government do something more useful like destroying spam bots:wacko:
in all honesty i think they need to put more focus on the economy.
So wait, EP has it's own tracker with the files there, or am I misunderstanding? I don't know that much about torrents, I just know I never got to download Xenosaga ;-;
at this moment in time the tracker has been dead for a good while, not even a quater of the games that were hosted are on there, if you wish to use an external site however, i cannot give out any names but just be careful if you do
i did state that it was a copy and paste
Dont understand why these corporates want to go after ppl playing with old wares. If they wish to be so greedy. Mayb all of us should stop buying their new gagets like ps3, psv, new computers and stop upgrading to new OS and lets see whether they can still sell their old stuff like ps1 and ps2. I think if everybody stop buying new content and stuff for a period all these greedy bastxxds will go bust. I guess if all this continue, I will just retire, I will not be able to afford all their nonsense
Look I may not be that big in to emulation but I know I am not the only one still stunned by the US Dept. of Justice seizing control of Megaupload and taking the entire site down. Yep every single Megaupload link that is posted on this site are gone. Think I am joking just copy and paste any of them in to your browser. You will only get one thing appearing and that is a message from the US Dept. of Justice saying Megaupload is gone. They even took control over the domain name.
So what do we do next? I know a bunch of file sharing sites are now limiting access to the files you upload.
There is a thread, in this very section, discussing the MU shutdown.
The title is pretty obvious, so I won't bother linking :P.
Super quick merging :lol.
Oh look, Megaupload isn't as evil as everyone claims.
http://www.digitalmusicnews.com/perm...111221airvinyl
so maybe emuparadise can switch to torrents uploading? if there won't be any more site's like fileserve/filesonic? :/
Agreed with PSPJohn. What's the harm in downloading 10 year old + games that aren't even for sale anymore? I can understand how downloading a brand new movie or game is bad and can damage the industry however.
man, there are SO many show that never got DVD releases, like Mon Colle Knights, though that one can't be found on the internet ANYWHERE!
Ah- Yes, I just read about Megabox.

They have been trying to nail MU for 2 years I wonder why now...hmmm...The Megaupload song perhaps? Maybe UMG didn't like this Megabox and that is why they got rid of the Megaupload song on youtube because youtube is co-owned by UMG ...and maybe perhaps they even pushed removing Megaupload itself and its sister sites before Megabox was released. Unlike the rest, Megabox would offer more $ to artists and cheaper or free music for the people.
My reaction:
Spoiler warning:
