For some reason I love this video and song. I think it's mostly because Josh Groban sings into a half eaten banana though.

Alright, I'm disconnecting myself from the internet for a short while.
Hopefully, I'll survive.
Most likely, I'll relapse and be back within 30 minutes.

Oops.
I haven't played it in two years so I forgot about the lines. :/
Brucie is awesome, only made even more so when you start playing GTA IV immediately after reading The Game by Neil Strauss.
Time to go out to eat. Be back in a bit, see ya folks. :wav:
Well to be honest I wasn't really reading it for advice. I'd read Motley Crue's The Dirt a year or so prior, was curious what else Strauss had worked on and thought a book where he becomes a pickup artist would make for a more interesting read than an autobiography by Jenna Jameson.
I guess if you look at it logically most of the advice they give boils down to stuff that really should be common sense but admittedly isn't to a lot of people - i.e. dress properly, be confident and don't act needy or desperate. They just wrap it up in unnecessarily dorky lingo that makes it sound like they're playing D&D. But really, if you read the book the characters end up pretty broken, completely lose their individuality and become so obsessed with PUA that by the end of it they're spending far more time swapping routines and squabbling amongst themselves than they actually do picking up women.
The Pope, the British Queen and Obama are coming to Ireland over the next year, this should be interesting.
Well, night all
Cops are outside. Happy holidays everyone. :lol
I will say that if someone is genuinely lost when it comes to women or lacking in confidence in other areas of their life they could do a lot worse than to read it, provided they're smart enough to know that's basically what it comes down to and aren't going to suddenly start following the Mystery Method or something.
Now see, it's actually quite amusing because throughout the book Strauss pretty much portrays himself as "OK, so I'm into PUA but I'm still human, it's the other guys who are robots" (at various points he insinuates they're brainwashed and explicitly refers to them being reprogrammed by the PUA "gurus"), yet as soon as the book was released he started offering seminars and classes himself...
Man, what's going on with the activations today? everytime I hit new posts there's someone wanting to be activated O_o
Oh well, I'm going to sleep too, have a good night everyone.
Just went to look for a Kindle version of The Game since I feel like reading it again and can't find my paperback, only to find it's not even on the Kindle store. I swear to God nothing I want to buy is ever available on there. It's like Amazon don't want me to give them money or something.
I'll be blunt and say I am awful with the opposite sex but I've always been sceptical of PUA books but it is mostly as a result of being introverted which is my own fault and a better method I think might be to actually just become more confident which is why I guess I never bothered reading them.
Perhaps it's a good way to market his books, I'm different from these guys, this if for people who are normal not me, don't worry you won't become a robot if you start using sayings like neg.
Bond lied to me. :D
