Various places are trying to get rid of them. In general no one wants them, I imagine if you played the bidding game on e-bay you could get a decent deal as well.

Heh, I thought both games executed them fairly well (the 2nd even moreso). The problem is it was viewed as some kind of innovation so companies just started to jam them into games where they didn't belong...
