The Wii couldn't handle the graphics more than likely, but I read that the developers are keeping MGS4 off the 360 for exclusive rights and only on the ps3, but maybe the next one.

Anywho - The reason they called it the "360" is because it meant turn around the generation, A revolution. They won't call it a 720, it doesn't work like that and beats the hell out of the cliche Playstation 1, 2, 3.
Hell, even Nintendo broke that cycle.
Gamecube, Wii. Any resemblance there? Nooo. :P
