Lynx consoles arrived today. They don't look too bad really considering they aren't boxed.
I forgot how large these things are :lol

Dreamcast region free bios kit arrived too, so I can mod my Japanese V3 console (VA1 that currently isn't MIL-CD compatible).
nice.
Ordered Chip's Challenge - Lynx (CiB sealed).
Probably not the best choice of game but it wasn't expensive.
Or something involving Disney rodents :awesome:
Disney rodents in the butt
found a firebite dagger and 60+ gold in a stump in the swamp just randomly I killed one of those bird thing with my crossbow and went to loot it I looked down and there it was just sitting in a stump. totally random would have been nice to have found it earlier in the game though.
At the start of the game (Seyda Neen) there's a quest where you can find a bunch of stuff inside a stump.
There's other hidden stuff randomly round the map iirc (including Solstheim), but the contents aren't random afaik they were all placed there specifically.
It's just another reason why this game still has replay value imo.
Well loot at certain locations is randomised, but I don't think Fargoth's stump at Seyda Neen is like that. There might be another stump in that locale too but maybe I'm confused
So much stuff in that game.
Oh and about what you asked the other day: homes.
You can engage in a quest line (it takes a while and has quite a few quests) for one of the three major houses and eventually get your own house "stronghold" built. Hlaalu, Telvanni, Redoran.
I'm not sure if you can do the quest lines for all three houses though.
If you search the house name and stronghold you should find info on requirements. eg: Hlaalu stronghold
It's really amazing how much stuff is in this game. I mean even the Xbox PAL version with multi language support is still quite small compared to a lot of games for that time (it won't fit on a CD though).

^ Link is dead atm but I'll see if I can dig out the original file from my backups tomorrow.
I think I did that one
that stump in seyda neen only contains items during the quest. I did look at that website you linked to and noticed that there's also another you can get by doing a quest much like the murdered tax man quest.
I haven't got to that stuff yet I've mostly been messing around raising skills. currently I'm doing fighters guild quests.
it is surprising how small the file size is but how much content there is in that small size.
