Thats what I have (a 5315).
But I do use a wireless router.

My problem is, I have bad back problems and cant sit up in bed or anything.
I have to be in a chair or something with back/neck support.

Upgraded to a 360GB HDD and 2GB of RAM, running xp.
Just bought a C2D T7500 off eBay for it earlier.

I only paid $50 for the lappy, so I dont mind spending a bit to upgrade it.

I used mine for 2 years ish, never turned it off, dropped it twice by accident and it's still working problem free to this day. Only upgrades I did were putting in another 1GB stick of RAM and installing Windows 7. When I upgraded to my Acer Aspire 5535 I gave my old one to my parents, they've had no problems with it. :D

Although I can see why you'd go with XP over Windows 7 with the default Celeron CPU.
