Dragon Quest IX Sentinels of the Starry Skies just did it today ;)
Mana Khemia: Student Alliance.
Bastion...wonderful game on so many levels. Graphics...music...atmosphere. I loved everything about it, but mainly the story. In few hours the game made you care about the character more then usual games do.
Finally beat Robotrek... only to get such a horrible ending.
Not worth it at all.
I beat Darksiders yesterday!!!
:CM:
Now finished beating Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros, and Super Mario Bros 3...
Silent hill 1, Silent hill 2 Amnesia the dark descent and PoP Sands of time(GBA)
Pokemon Platinum
Now I can finally do away with all the terrible memories of the primary (read: not HeartGold/SoulSilver, as they are remakes) Generation 4 games.
Chrono Trigger about 3 week ago. A little too hard game for me.
Beat Twisted Metal over the weekend, God was Sweet Tooth hard to beat!
Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Fucking loved this game. Probably not as memorable as the first one (or maybe that's just nostalgia speaking), but still pretty damn great.
I kinda went crazy near the end, stunning people from above with the Icarus Landing System and spamming Typhoon at everything that moves. So satisfying.
Super Mario Bros 2 finished...
Valkyrie profile for PS1. did u see the animation for great spell casting in this game LMAO coolest thing in the PS1 era!!!
Finally got around to finishing Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions on Hard today. Still have to go back and get a platinum medal in all of the levels, finish the challenges and find all of the hidden spiders. Something tells me I've still got a couple more weeks of this game.
It really is a lot of fun, but the controls can get really wonky, especially when wall crawling, and the targeting system isn't very friendly. There were quite a few battles where I just plain old didn't use it, and it actually made the game easier, even with the lack of being able to dodge certain attacks with ease.
I would highly recommend it, though. There are very few great superhero games, and while this one doesn't quite measure up to Arkham Asylum, it still is a lot of fun. The graphics and aesthetics are beautiful (love me some cel-shading), the voice acting is really good (although some of the lines, especially in boss battles, get really repetitive), and each of the four Spidermen offer different ways to play the game that keeps it from getting monotonous.
Also, I have to say, that Carnage level has to be one of the most satisfying and straight up fun gaming experiences I've had in a long time. A straight up fist fight between Ultimate Spiderman and Carnage? So awesome.
Beat Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (I beat it a long time ago, but played it just to beat it again)
and Castlevania: Curse of Darkness (Just beat it for my first time).. Both were very fun.
Now I'm looking forward to beating Devil May Cry 3 again!
you just remind me of my childhood.Castlevenia adventure for Game Boy Color was the first game of my life & i loved that game.it has good soundtracks like other Castlevenia games & i still wonder why would Konami add such nice soundtracks for a cheap console like that?
BTW those castlevenia has some great music as well specially Curse of Darkness.my favorite is Balijhet Mountain theme! :rockin:
My favorite of the two of them was probably..

Breath of fire 4
I bought Haouki over PSN on the weekend. Only beat one of the routes today. Despite not being the target audience (considering I'm a guy) I freaking loved this game. Mind you, I've only done one route (and got a normal end) and intend to get the other endings. I found the plot to be incredible, the characters endearing and memorable, not to mention the amazing soundtrack. I guess I'm a little biased as I'm a sucker for Japanese History pre-1900s. The story takes place in the 1800s, FYI.
And the route I beat wasGot the normal ending. I chose what I would if I were in the situation. Was going Okita route for a while but then I started to go with my choices.Spoiler warning:
Gypsy, I got it for the PS3. If you need help I'm pretty good. I'll keep you going, I always do the 5sec finishers on almost every kill unless I'm about to lose the combo.
1:Modern Warfare 3
2:diablo 2 (including expansion)
3:fallout 3
Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave
Cleared Jude and Milla's scenario. Still a long way to go...whoo...
FFIV: Interlude. Was not expecting it to be that short :P
Giving it a bit of a break before I go after them. I don't know about the max weapon one if it means the experience for the weapons (which would take me forever, since I never even used the scythe or glove in combat) or if it means just to buy all the upgrades. I need that stupid horse distance one too which will be easy, just boring.
Shank 2 [PC], what a ride. Difficult as hell for my skills.
In one of the levels (can't remember the name of it at the moment) there's a room that will pretty much infinitely spawn spiders once you learn the trick. It still takes a little bit and can be quite boring, but it's a helluva lot easier than running through random areas trying to find enemies to kill. You can find a video of it on Youtube if you look up the name of the trophy, which is escaping me at the moment.
Also, for the "Ride 666 Miles" one, like Tanthias says...
... use a rubber band. I got into the middle of a wide open space in the desert, snapped a band on my controller holding the left stick all the way to the left, and he ran around in a circle for about ten minutes until the trophy popped. I don't recommend actually watching the screen, though, or you'll get dizzy and pass out. Motherfucker turns pretty sharply.
oh poo. Well I'll go for the spiders I suppose.
Yeah that's probably what I'd do and the spider place is reached from the desert I think anyways with that horse warping thing. Crap this is going to take forever, not to mention buying all the upgrades. Damn I hate being so close to getting the :platinum: like this and don't want to say screw it and move on to something else but I may.
LOZOOT. Fun game.:whoo:
BS Zelda no Densetsu
It was a fantastic quasi remake/third quest of/for Zelda 1. A shame it never saw an official release outside of Japan. But it was a bit too short.
Prince of Persia (2008).
Beat Kingdoms of Amalur yesterday. Gonna go back and wrap up the final 2 achievements I missed.
Sonic Generations.
