Hi, Fist of Tulkas.
Hi, Sheik, wielder of the Sword of Time.
Love a good cheesecake...
Thought you were a kid, eh? The waitstaff usually mistakes me for Hagrid....go figure....
Yo, Sheik. Wait...you mean all those times I called you 'Swordsheik' OFFENDED you? Damn...and I had a new one ready; 'Shword'.... :(
Hey, Wayne.
Oh, hey, it's August in South Africa! :(
The last month of Winter in SA... :( :( :( :(
Hi.
Short, scrawny, and the fact that my voice keeps going up to a higher pitch whenever I am talking to a stranger.
Hi!
Hi. See what I said to Sheik. At least you're assumed to be an adult. Me? Kid.
Tulkas - Now I'm picturing you as your avatar...heh.
If I shave my head/face completely, I will still get IDed for cigs now and again, so...
Yo, Ras.
Wayne/Shane/etc. -
:harold:
:wav:
See ya Rasgrez
Prepare for big reply post.
:| I think it's a subconscious defense mechanism along the lines of "they won't hurt me if I sound like a kid." Because I sure as Hell don't do it on purpose.
I'm female. I don't have facial hair (at least, I'm not supposed to have facial hair).
My Avatar IS me. I have scar tissue on my right eye making it have a giant white blob on my dark brown eye. I have copious hair. It goes down to my butt. It's not always as straight as I drew it, but it's long.
*foam at mouth*
1) 8 movies, 7 books. They split the last book. The books are longish (get longer with each new book) but they're good.
2) He doesn't like it but all the fans inverse (aka: Entire Wizarding World) keep gawking at it. He got it when Voldemort failed to kill him and died.
3) There's a lot of magic with wands. There is also magic without wands, magic without words, and magic without wands or words.
I gotcha. Yeah, I know this-one-from-that-one, pretty much, but only because of my wife's love of the series...books, films, etc..
Hagrid is a grand character...as is Robbie Coltrane, the actor that portrays him.
Tulkas - I see....right on! :)
Yo, DL.
:parrot:
I have something that causes severe sensitivity towards light. I think the eye doctor called it blepharitis. Basically: light hits eye too much, eye gets irritated, irritation causes scarring, scarring is slowly but steadily making my right eye blind. I'm taking medicine for it but unfortunately it just slows/stalls the process, not reverse it. My left eye is better but I still need glasses. Has the added effect of making my right eye squint like Zuko's flame-burned eye. I can see out of it but it's... not as good.
Tulkas - WAIT...you are female? REALLY?!? heh heh.... I had you pegged for a male, 50-70 years old, and with a similar look to Danny Devito... ;)
Sorry to hear of your eye issue...maybe, though, its not all a bad thing; human 'disorders' are sometimes advantageous in other ways...
Sheik - I think Ras was waving 'ello to me.
DL - Please, man; TRY and restrict your gas emissions tonight, eh?
(BBEELLLCChhhhhh...)
I felt like someone was trolling about the Harry Potter, because I saw no reason for someone to not know what it is. I've never read a single page from the books and still knew of it passingly by random people who'd ask about it. No one has casually mentioned it in the area in which you live? Neither here nor the internet? Naw....
