Ridiculous. o.O And cartoons are meant to be a better alternative to gaming? I learned far more from playing RPGs as a kid than I ever did from watching crappy cartoons on TV. A story-centric RPG is really only a few steps away from a novel. Not a particularly exceptional novel, mind, but even reading a fairly poor novel will do a world more good for you than watching a show like Scooby Doo, where the same plot devices are used excessively, and where there is no semblance of character development or change.Quote:

Heck if nothing else, playing games in another language has propelled me to the top of a Japanese class where the next youngest person is nine years my elder. ^_^ I guess that few kids play games in Japanese, but several of my foreign friends online have improved their English by much the same means.
