Back to Tomb Raider :bounce:.
Back to Tomb Raider :bounce:.
Underworld.
My gaming backlog is growing again. I used to use backloggery, but meh.
I've been making an effort to play through the pile of games I've already got on hand before obtaining more . It helps that the majority of new games don't interest me in the slightest :revwacko:.
Yeah the more I see games change, the less compelled I feel to play or even find them interesting. There was something magical about gaming up until halfway through the 7th generation (PS3/Xbox 360 era). I guess the PS4 has had some good games.
:lou: hehehe
:awesome: The Book of Boba Fett chapter 5 :awesome:
I found some lumber when I was cleaning my garage. One shelf up, one to go. I've been putting this off for years because I was too cheap to buy boards for the shelves .
Any 12" boards are obscenely priced :lol.
You guys run out of trees? :pwacko:

Under 2 days left $)
No, but we're flipping out and screaming about any being cut down, while simultaneously making everyone stay at home and consider small home improvement projects. Today some freaks shutdown a ferry port and maybe superglued their bodies all over the road, cause they gotta save the world by fucking up traffic.
I guess I could have done MDF but even that would've been over $60 .
Well, I've pretty much filled another 4TB drive now with x265 rips :lol
Still got the other 4TB drive I got recently with a lot of free space but I'm just using that for PS4 BP's.
Filling the x265 drive meant I could delete stuff from my other drives, so there's like 1TB free on another 4TB and about the same on a 3TB. Plus an older 1TB is only half full now but I might move what's left there onto a larger drive and recycle that for proto games or something like that.
Probably should get another 4TB or larger drive I guess...
maybe you should just get a server rack:pwacko:
I remember that happening in Brisbane over here, not recently though...

Been a while, but I'm watching Mysteries of the Gods again
A 8TB HDD would be nice. Heck even a 10 or 13TB would be nice.
I got a family member 4x4TB drives from here for a media PC a few months ago. They all have a lot of hours and such but seem to be in reasonable overall condition for $11.25/TB (discounted to $45/drive when buying 2+). The site also has a bunch of SAS drives but you'd need a controller card (flashed) and cables for them.
That's like $65aud each. For a little more ($15-20aud) you can get 3.5" 4TB drives in external powered cases, brand new. Just rip them out of the enclosures to use in a desktop if you want.
Also, that 2.5" ext seagate drive I got recently that actually had a sata interface inside, those are around the same. I haven't checked the specs but I assume they use less power than 3.5" drives.
What's the sequential transfer speed on the 2.5" you pulled?
Dunno, I didn't test that and I never do really. I mainly use laptops and only one of them has USB 3. It is actually seagate though. I've never seen a 2.5" that thick before.
Have to work today, but I can pop the case open again in the next couple of days and give you the drive model so you can look it up if you want (just remind me again in a day or so in case I forget).
