I don't know if it was a mistake. My uncles were like shamans who taught me a totally different way of thinking--so the way things played out went further in that direction. But at the same time, now that I'm older I see how much simpler things would have been if I hadn't tried to ask the big questions about my life before I was ready to hear the answers. The ways in which psychedelics communicate with you can't always be interpreted, and for someone like me who took too much it was just a horrifying experience that sent me into a paranoid schizophrenic state.

Yeah i try to avoid drugs except for tylenol 3. And that's just when i need to sleep and have been laying in bed in pure silence for 45 minutes.

I hear you. My take on it now is that being educated by hallucinogens doesn't necessarily give you knowledge that can be applied in a practical fashion. Some 17 year old guy who thinks he has learned everything from weed and LSD is usually a tragedy waiting to occur.
