Fought a boss that was essentially an alien-like creature surrounded by THOUSANDS of zombie-like people!! I was really wowed...might be one of the coolest, most original bosses I have seen in a game..
....And having to use the Bat-form and use sonar
blips to see your way through that spiked area...how friggin cool! Armour that shatters spikes upon touching them? The animal transformations? Wow....so many reasons why this game is heads and tails above most others of its breed...

Eh, it was okay for online browsing and doing simple stuff. But since I use so many Windows apps I really don't have a use for it. :P
I dual boot and these days, I can't really name any software that I use with any sort of frequency that doesn't have a functional linux equivalent, the biggest being Foobar2000. I don't even use Photoshop unless I have a reason to now.
Also, I hated the Unity interface at first, too. Back before I got used to the idea while using OSX86. Now, I don't mind it and realized that I can utilize the space by maximizing (will never do) or invading its space with the edge of a window. When you do that, it auto-hides, and you can call it up by either pushing the Super (Windows) key on your keyboard or by mousing over the left edge.
Might give it another go later down in the future. :nod:
Ubuntu has a bit of a problem in that they're trying to build away from GNOME and create their own Desktop Environment, which, I don't think they have the manpower or expertise to do. They've created a neat little fork of GNOME-Shell, but it is what it is: a neat little fork. The GNOME Foundation has just released GNOME-Shell extensions, which Unity does not and cannot support. I don't believe Unity has hooks for extensions either so essentially with Unity, wysiwyg, which is antithesis to the principles of Linux.Quote:
