According to my doctor the pain will slowly go away in the next year or so. I will always have arthritis in my back, shoulder, and hip. Arthritis really isn't that bad though.

Pffff. I stoped taking pain meds while I was still in the hospital. Not because the pain went away, but because I started to get pretty sick. I take some alieve from time to time, but if I seem to have a really low tolerance for any medication. I have never been much of a pill person. Daily pains are surprisingly easy to get used to after a while. They suck, but it becomes part of life. I just put it in the back of my mind.

I meant if the arthritis starts getting worse, but you'd know better than I how well you can handle pain.
