so this spring I was clearing a space in the basement to put X-mas decorations on and found a box with some old junk in it I found my old sony walkman(the last model made with the tape deck and am/fm radio) in there, I've had that thing sitting in my room since I found it I finally got around to putting some batteries in it to see if it still works I was surprised that it does my basement tends to be damp so I figured it would have been junk sitting down there for as long as it has.

Net had went out for a bit. Storming AGAIN. A couple areas near me are on a boil order for 2+ months due to flooding.
I'm really not sure I think I bought it in 2000 or 2001 I do remember that I bought it from walmart that had opened up earlier that year in the area. I bought it after my birthday I spent $20 for that and a pack of blank tapes I was going to buy a cd player but I couldn't afford it.Quote:
