Well; I always was into pinball machines, drinkin' my sorry ass to oblivion into weird places, and somehow they acquired arcade machines, so I played games on them and it was funnier than those goddamn pinballs. Next thing I knew, buddie so' mine bought some computer stuff, prolly Commodore 64 or Schneider computer, I played some games with'em, it was fun, so I actually bought myself a game console when the Sega Master System was released in Europe.
And I've been a gamer for nearly 30 years since then.
Though I tend to play only RPG's, because I don't find action games or platformers appealing anymore. And I tremendously suck at fightin' games.

Always had an interest growing up. I remember in the 70's when my parents hooked up the pong game to the tv. I thought it was the best thing ever. Later got an amstrad cpc and spent most of my childhood playing on that. I'm 42 now and the bug never went away. Don't think it will. People don't understand that guys who grew up with the video game evolution are addicted...regardless of age.

Born into it. My mother already had a Super Nintendo and Game Boy, and she grew up with Atari, so it's basically been in my blood.

Hm. Probably visiting my neighbours' house when I was three and watching their kids playing Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Master System. After that, it was watching the Donkey Kong Country intro over and over again on about thirty TVs at a nearby Big W. Since the SNES was still pretty expensive but the Master System had gotten much cheaper and it came with a free game (the BIOS version of Alex Kidd), so my parents got one of them for the family and a couple of games. Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Castle of Illusions, Ghost House.... even today those three games instil instant nostalgia. :)

First time I visited a friend who had a SNES. I never looked back after that. Good times.

I started with pinball but when Space Invaders came out, there was a contest for the highest score.I won that and then the contest on Asteroids. I after that, I was all in!

I originally watched my sister and her boyfriend play the game Super Mario World. I started when I was 4.

Atari 2600 for me. I loved everything about it - the sweet games, the odd, double screw hook up in the back of the TV. Playing games with my dad was awesome, and I've been in love with video games ever since.

Night time and rainy days as a youth mostly. Playing games was easier than playing with toys since you didn't have to pick things up afterwards. Not that I didn't have a massive amount of legos I used daily.

Playing NES back in the day. Snow Brothers Co-Op was the best!
