There are about 2 days per year when AMD releases some new feature before nVidia or Intel. Once in a while, you will hear that AMD has the best new gear, then it's back to normal after a day or two.

Recently read about $1000 graphics card with 3600 processing cores. I forget the name but I'm pretty sure it's nVidia. Wish I had the money for one.

AMD have fallen far ever since the Pentium 4 Days. Even the AMD Turion 64 X2 Ultra in my Laptop cant stand up to the same clocked Intel Core 2 Duo Equivalent. AMD's best move is to instead go for "bang for buck" buyers (Like myself) I don't mind loosing 5% Performance if im getting a much better deal This is what I had found when buying AMD/ATi over Nvidia at one point
