Ok, i got about 40 more ISOs that are in SLUS-(ID number here) and I really don't feel like searching through all right now.

I didn't see anything that looked like it could be it in a cursory glance over Wikipedia's list of third person shooters. You could probably find it if you dug through GameFAQs. And as Supreme_Warrior said, if you find the SLUS number, it'll be cake. You can just Google it from that, or search on GameFAQs.
Well I will slowly go through the games that are just by ID, which is quite a few, and see what I could come up with.
Found out what it is, the ID is SLES-04158 and the game is called Wanted.
It was released in 2004, in Europe

Sounds like Breath of Fire 2 for the SNES/Super Famicom.:)
Edit: Although some of the description would not apply to that game. I'm just trying to help, but maybe I'm just making everything more complicated. It's like, I think I'm so smart and then I EMBARRASS MYSELF AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!
Edit 2: I'm sorry, I have to go in for an endoscopy this morning, and they are going to ask me the same prerequisite questions all over again. A representative from the hospital calls me and asks if anything would make my stay more comfortable. I mention that since they are entering the information into the computer, they may just as well save it for my next visit. She gets all defensive and just keeps saying: "With each admission- bla bla bla." Like some weird Nazi propaganda shit; like if you say the same illogical thing over and over again someone will agree with you. Neurotic left-brained nonsense I say.
Anyway, I hope it works out, and I'll try to keep my cool today.
Okay, I have no clue if this game even exists or if I just imagined reading about it, but the idea was so unusual it kind of stuck in my head. Later when I tried to look for it I found nothing.
It was a game that starts out like a horribly traditional RPG, but then you're controlling the one who was playing the game (a kid I think) and the person who was playing the game is suddenly in the RPG world. It turns out that the 'hero' of the game is a jerkass leaving a trail of chaos all over the place and you have to set things right. Kind of a deconstruction of usual RPG elements.
It sounded unusual and I thought I'd check it out. Seems like it was for the PS1, but I'm not sure about that. Ringing any bells?
Hello there people new to this place and when I saw this thread I thought it could be of some help, anyway... I remember a few games that I don't remember at the same time...
The first one was an arcade game, I don't much but what I think I remember was that it was a 2D platform-shooter. Kinda like Contra but without the cool power-ups (I think), it was like some special op for a couple of soldiers and was mostly a jungle setting. I think player one was green and player two was blue, what I remember most was when you were shot your character didn't die right there but you got to crawl on the ground hurt and still fight back, not sure you could back up or not I always got hurt again and died...
The next one is also an arcade game, you got to sit on like some jet ski thing while you played and it tilted whenever you turned. The graphics on the game were very polygon-ish and the ship kinda looked like from SNES Starfox except it was red and black colored. You were on some race track and obstacles would get in your way but you could shoot them down. When your ship took too much damage it would break apart depending on where you were crashing like if you smashed your right wing too much it would be gone.
Now the last one was on the psx, you played some boy who went to a different planet trying to save someone. I remember there was no health or lives system because most enemies would kill you in one hit, and the weapon you had was some kind of gun that shot lightning.
Hope anyone can help me remember these titles.
Sounds like Heart of Darkness.
So, the game was an n64 game that you were an animal and you choose a world and it was an adventure puzzle game. Sorry it was so vague.
This is what I thought of as well. Now I don't know this series in general, but the PSP version might also be a remake of a Turbo CD game(I know there was something in this series in English there), just in case it wasn't the PSP(which is kind of new to be forgetting games you played on it......) you were thinking of.
Aside from the part about the "hero" being the villain, which may be a part of it, this actually sounds like God Medicine, a rom translation for the Game Boy.
ho-kai! long time visitor first time poster here and i absolutely love these forums :3 lots of fun stuff goin on :3 so i'm looking for a couple of games
1: I cant remember what system this game was for but it was definitely either Sega, NES, or SNES (though i'm pretty sure it was for the NES) it all took place in a mansion i think, or some kind of giant abandoned house, it was done like Castlevania in that it was kind of free roaming. It was also 2D, you could find different costumes that would give you powers (like a ninja that threw shurikens or a knight that would jab with his joust stick thing). I dont remember entirely but i beleive you could enter something like a dreamworld and had a limited time in there before some monstrously powerful enemy appeared. I keep thinking something along the lines of Freddy Kreuger when this game comes to mind, it was also a good 15 or so years ago when i played this at a friends place XP
2: This second game was a first person Star Wars game, it was for PC and i'm pretty sure it came out in the 90's. I thought it was Dark Forces but only found a PS1 version and it didn't look familiar at all.
Any help at all is awesome :3 thanks ahead of time yo!
1 - unsolved
*EDIT so after doing some late night research i actually answered number two and proved my own ineptitude, it was Dark Forces XP
I'm reposting my question from page 10, people probably won't see it back there: "For quite a while now i've been wondering about an old arcade game i used to play. For an arcade game it had quite good graphics, it was a side scroller where you played as a (green clothed?) elf like person, i believe player 2 was blue, but he might have been red. You used some sort of magic, i think it came from a staff (wand?) it may of been a laser weapon though, but unlikely. You were trying to save a female elf thing (maybe princess). The first level i think you came out of a bar or club of somesort that was made inside of a tree, the rest of the level i think was a forest. The bosses are what i remember the best, they were almost all zodiac creatures, there was also a sun and moon that may have been partialy mechanical. On all of the boss fights you were flying on... something, but the rest of the game was played on the ground. The bosses were weird, when you did enough damage to them, bits of their "skin" would disppear and make them look zombie-like. The gemini boss had you fighting against two women shaped bosses, but they had strange faces and (i think) talons on their hands. There was a saggitarius looking boss that was particularly ugly. Apart from the bosses the game was very cartoony. I hope thats enough information to go on, ill edit this post if i remember anything. Thanks."
@tehwaffler. the game i believe your talking about is chamleon kid:)
i have been searching for a game for as long as i can remember. its an nes game and it starts out in a castle. i remember collecting keys. then as soon as you get out of the castle theres like thunder and a dragon boss. i remember it was a 2d platformer.
Could it be Legacy of the Wizard aka Dragon Slayer IV: Drasle Family?
Outside the house where you start, before entering the dungeon.

Final boss, near the very beginning of the game but you can't fight him till the end.

hmm.... i actually think that might be it. i was like four, and i thought i had remembered the scenery being darker. but now that i see it, yes that might be the game ive been looking for! thanx so much!! =)
Could it be Submarine Titans? It seems most likely as that's the only real RTS looking game that pops up when I google "underwater RTS."

Sounds more like Mystic Heroes. I'm pretty sure the blurb about massive battles is even there, in an orange star. Id have to go home and look though.
Oh yeah: There used to be a pc srpg series posted on the old forum. It was.. 5 or 6 games long, started with a F in the title I believe. It was a fan translation as well, I think. No, not fire emblem but a similar game style. I've been meaning to redownload it since my old hdd tanked but since the servers poofed and all... haven't found it again/can't recall what it was called.
Hey guys, I've come here with a query about a long-lost game I used to play as a young kid on an old Windows 98 probably, between 1999 and 2004 roughly.
The premise of the game was that you bred and controlled these little minion creature things, quite small they were. They started off as babies and gradually grew. The game is played underground, with where the baby creatures are born. You get levels going downwards. For example on one level was a nursery where your baby creatures are born. A level down will be the school, level after the bar perhaps. Anyway these levels descend down until you reach the bottom, which is a hellish core level full of evil creatures which kill your creatures if they get there.
The game is played with the player look head-on into the levels. A visual demonstration would be like this:
-------------ground
a level
---------------
another level
--------------
another level
--------------
and so on.
The player needed to feed and give water to their creatures and shit, help them survive.
If anyone knows what I'm on about, please do tell. :)
Unresolved.
Last repost before I give up on these threads.
This is one we've been looking for for ages. MS DOS game. You played a rabbit and I think may be a puzzle game, otherwise more likely a platformer. You eat cabbages to gain points and either when you eat the cabbage or when you finish the level it sings "hallelujah." Someone else has informed me there was a green slime involved. That's all I remember for now.
It's not Jazz Jackrabbit or Quick the Thunder Rabbit.

Pteryx, do you happen to know the platform?
mrwilly, perhaps the game is Creatures? This is a screenshot of the first game:

I didn't even know a thread like this existed, so now I have hope!
Ok, here goes:
Platform: SNES OR Sega Genesis
Genre: Action/Adventure
Unfortunately, I don't remember any of the mechanics (scoring, health, attacking) or even what the character looks like, BUT I remember the environment.
1. It was very colorful.
2. There were four levels, I believe you could choose which order you did them in. They were shown in the four corners of the screen, and each was a color: a green, ivy filled jungle level, a red volcano-like level, a blue underwater level, and I forget the fourth.
3. In the "red" level, there was a portion where a giant black ball (shiny, like a marble) was chasing you, and you had to outrun it through a series of tunnels.
4. This one MAY NOT BE THE SAME GAME. I might be mixing another one up here, but: in the underwater level, the boss was a pirate of sorts on a pirate ship, and he would like, spray out water at you, and you'd fall off the ship. BUT, you didn't die, you swam around under the ship, avoiding urchins, etc., until you got back onto the ship to continue the fight with him.
That's about it for what I remember. It's NOT Joe & Mac, though it's similar, and it's not any of the Sonic series, though they're close though too..

Was there ever a GB version of Hagane? (:
Alright, so I'm looking for a SNES game. It's basically a motorbike racer played from top-down perspective, but it didn't have the most serious graphics ever. I remember it being a bit more wacky and colourful. I think it might've been a Japanese game, though I'm not entirely sure. Oh, and the most important thing: it had an extremely catchy intro song.
Edit: Found it. It was Battle Cross.
[SOLVED]
i have two games in mind i believe there for the SNES.
one is a pacman game involving an adventure dealing with helping his family with simple deeds.
getting milk for the baby, getting a guitar for his son, getting a flower, then defeating gummaster.
the other one i can only recall the cover having some jungle boy on it.
and i never beat it cause it was hard.
