I was just giving Sprung a friendly warning, like I said, there is no real benefit other than PSN access. You shouldn't be getting online with a hacked console anyway.

What's the risk? Getting banned from PSN? If you don't care about online access then it's sort of moot if you get banned. :sa-P:
Besides, as it is right now.. if you're careful about what you're doing, it's pretty undetectable anyway.

And yea I know it was just fair warning, and I agreed. This new firmware should not be used at any cost. I say if you must have PSN access, use Geohot's firmware and patch games manually, that's the safest and cleanest option available to everyone right now.

I don't care about the access myself but some people seem to think they shouldn't get banned for getting online with a hacked console :S. I couldn't get on if I wanted to since I'm on dial-up :nod:.
