but chances are they arnt
Do you want more ps2 codes?
any new serials are welcome i know a few of those ps2 ones are allready in the ps2 index as ive got them myself (IE wild arms 3 , armored core 2 , ffx , ffx2) ill have a look through them and see which are new and pass them on :)
never realised how patheticly small the pal ps2 list was lol .... gonna have to try n work on that :S might go down one of the local shops and start jotting down serials from the game cases on shelfs lol
I discovered three old demo discs of the German magazine Playzone:
SLED-02078
Playzone CD Vol.8
SLED-02592
Playzone CD Vol. 16
SLED-2832
Playzone vol. 19
hi,
thanks for the additional serials of the demo's ill pass them on :),
to my knowledge the usa ps2 list is pretty much complete till almost the end of the year (including titles yet to be released) i think he used that site you posted to get them not exactly sure but thanks :)
Actually I misread something, and thought we were still in search of US-numbers, instead of PAL. I just did a search of my own, and now I realize why you'd go search for them in stores. For some reason, they aren't listed at the offical sites along with the game information, unlike the site for America. Not at the one for Europe, nor at the Australian site.
yea it makes getting the pal codes a little bit more difficult .. and with him living in usa u can imagine he dont get too see many of them ... id like to go to store and jot down the numbers but i can just imagine the funny looks the shop clerks would give me lol probably think i was casing the joint game by game to rob it lol
Maybe it's possible to get them from an online shop. I noticed a US-Yahoo store listing the numbers, so maybe there's a shop somewhere doing the same in PAL regions.
not a bad idea ill have to havea look at amazon and the like ... i suppose i could also attempt to get the covers as the serial is listed there as well
allright the renamer is finnaly done and finised beta testing
the scanner supports the 2 most common archives RAR , 7Z it also supports uncompressed images the image types it supports are ISO ,CDI , CCD , IMG ,SUB , BIN ,CUE
if the file is in archived it will rename the rar volume with the name , languages , serial if the image is uncompressed it will rename the image , cue sheets etc (also modifies the targets on cue's etc so they will still work) and place in a folder with the full name
known errors happen with NRG , MDS and files that are currently being uploaded
if the renamer fails to rename an archive / img that meens that the serial is most likely not in the database in which case please do submit the game name , serial (and possible language) so we can update it :) were probably going to be updating the DB file monthly so ill keep u posted with that also it will only add the language if its known (all usa games come up [U] all jap come up [J] but pal games that have unconfirmed multi languages will simply be marked as [PAL] )
any bugs / problems will be displayed in the error log please post them to me should u find any glitches also the renamer will create a log of all the games you do have and all the games you dont have from the database file (handy for creating a trade list with) and it also creates a missing file which shows all games in the database you dont have
hope this helps a lot of you :)
PS1 Renamer V1.0
*edited* ok ive made a basic web site up as well regarding this program where you will be able to get addition database updates and also will have a known issues section for anything the program has difficulties with
so please do get in contact with me regarding anything with this renamer so i can update the site accordingly :)
hi topaz
i'm pretty sure there are no serials with same digits in S?PS-91* section
for instance you'll never find
SLPS-91226...91232
or
SLPS-91238...91246
because SCPS with same codes exist
and
good luck to you guys
thanks were gonna need the luck its all about how much people are willing to help now :)Quote:

when we found that we were about to chuck in the whole project thinking certian games did share p-codes ... but we guessed one of them had to be a patched version as we couldnt confirm the legitamy of either title without someone having the orriginal version to confirm it
hopefully more people will start submitting new serials they find when they use the re namer :)
