I can see how you may think that. But in reality those two games are vastly different. Throw tech traps? Ryu sweep cancels? Min and max stun and damage values randomly generate? You see where I'm going with this? Its like the wild west! Lawless!

I assume you were talking about the SFII = SFIV thing, in which case, yes it was just a sarcastic generalization. Interestingly enough though, one of the contributing factors to the development of SFIV was due to the popularity of Hyper Fighting on the marketplace.
