Finished Little big planet 2.
Not a hope of going for the platinum, 24 hours in create mode, and it has to be active as well. Cant just enter it and leave it. Fuck that.

Time for a cool trick on grind heavy games like that.
Make a stack of games. You just need a height of slightly higher than your controller when it's resting on your desk/table/whatever.
Now move the third or fourth game out at an angle. You might want to put something heavy on top in some cases.
Put the edge of the case on your analog stick so that it's pointing in a direction (the right stick in this case, which will rotate an object)
Leave for a day.
Exit.
SUCCESS.
Oh man, you actually did it? ^_^ I've only seen videos.
I dream of a world where putting Barbatos in your game to prevent auto-leveling is standard practice. What's that? This is Final Fantasy, and Barbatos has no place turning up? Wakamoto has no patience for your human logic.
just finished phantasy star 4 on genesis. great game story was kinda bland traditional save the universe type deal. The thing i liked most was the monster design coupled with certain monster abilities to "fuse" made fighting them interesting. not going to add any spoilers but you could probably beat the final boss without a team of 60-65.
Spoiler warning:
Beat SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked last night. I'm debating whether or not to replay it again for the various other endings.
for me borderlands, game of the year edition for ps3
Phantasy Star II
I honestly don't see why so many people like this game.
Answer:
Spoiler warning:
I personally loved it, although when I beat it about 19 years ago I wasn't nearly as jaded as I am now. ;P
I myself just finished beating Dead Island. Took about 50 hours of gameplay time. Although I did every side quest as well. Awesome game is awesome. :]
3rd Birthday (hard mode).
I really didn't like the story, nor did I like how the TRUE VILLAINS behind EVERYTHING went from being sympathetic to TEH EVIL in the span of 10 seconds of dialogue.
Honestly, I'd REALLY like to see the game be remade, along with Phantasy Star 3. PS3 has the most potential, but I feel PS2 could be salvaged with a remake that would expand the story, because the way it's presented is a mess and comes off as not very compelling on its own.
It's a decades-old game, you should think about what other RPGs were out at the time and then think about just how awesome and HUGE PS2 was for it's time. Sure, it's a little dated now, but it's still a great game. Much better than it's oft-hated sequel.
They did remake it and the first one for PS2. They were part of a rather large list of budget-priced titles dubbed Sega Ages 2500. Because they were priced at 2500 yen. They were only released in Japan, with no real hope of the officially coming overseas. There is someone on Romhacking.net who has been making some progress in translating the Phantasy Star 2 remake to English.
Games that are considered great should be able to hold up regardless of how much time has passed. PS2 doesn't, and as such I cannot, beyond being blinded by nostalgia, see how it can be considered to be a great game.
Just finished Deus Ex Human blah blah Flygirl and Spyboy, and Front Mission Alternative.Hmm,talking about Phantasy star, i really enjoyed Phantasy Star II(and cursed it too, cose was a very difficult game for me,back then),and PhS4 too. PSIII sucks imo.
Beat Gears 3 on Hardcore. Planning on going through it again on Insane, but co-op to knock two achievements out in one go.
Beat Fallout New Vegas today
Spoiler warning:
Shining Force Gaiden
Finally got around to playing (and beating) Apollo Justice.
I just beat The World Ends With You for the second time about an hour ago. And I plan to play through it again to get all of the reports. I guess I can say I beat Left 4 Dead, but you don't REALLY beat a game like that until you play through all the campaigns on Expert... Or just get all of the achievements for it.
Also beat LoZ: OoT3D Pretty recently. I'm not normally the completionist type, so I lost interest after beating the regular story. No golden skulltulas or Master Quest for me! It's like playing through the same game again, only you don't know what you're doing all over again. Haha...
It wasn't exactly recent, but I also beat MOTHER 3. I'm currently working on a second play-through since my old save file got corrupted somehow. :< Not really CURRENTLY, actually... But...
Let's see, I also beat all of the Chapters in Dead or Alive: Dimension's Chronicle Mode. Still missing four characters and a crapload of figures. And a few costumes... And all that other collectible stuff.
I beat Pokemon White a while after I beat MOTHER 3, so I think it deserves a mention. Working on a competitive team in it, even.
Umm... I think that's it. I've beaten all lot of games recently as compared to the games I had already beaten. I have a pretty short list of games that I have beaten start-to-end. And zero on the list of 100% completed, all items obtained, all extras seen, secret ending, yada yada. So far no games have been worth putting that much time into...
Just got 100% on Bastion :D
http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7...b=achievements
Especially the last of the reflection challenges was an absolute bitch to complete, but I got there in the end (barely) :P
Recently beat Deadly Premonition.
Bought it without knowing much about it, loved every minute of it, flaws and all. May play through again soon.
Genesis version of Shining Force.
I actually prefer this to the GBA remake.
After many start and stops over the course of a couple of weeks, I have finally finished Resident Evil 5.
... time to replay the son of a bitch. However, hopefully I won't be as frustrated, because uber-shotgun.
Castlevania - Lords of Shadow :platinum:
Finished fallout new vegas with all the dlc, I was really happy with the final dlc (lonesome road) its largely linear and heavy on dialog but it worked really well. Great ending to the game.
100% on ChantElise, or as close to 100% as you can get. Both gramaphones, all the fishing rewards, all the crystals, 2 Omnicharms, 2 Divine Staffs and a set of Dragon Buster gauntlets to match with the Star Glove. 34 hours isn't bad for $9.99.
Played through the main game of Portal. Took a little under two hours, and the entire time I was thinking "Okay, once I reach what seems like a decent stopping point, I'll go to bed." I wasn't aware it was that short.
just finished cold fear for ps2 not too long of a game, similar to the resident evil series more similar with 4 than any really with it's aiming system.
will say that the ending was a let down.
I just finished playing Final Fantasy II For the PSP. Great classic game remake, and somehow, the characters have personalities (although limited) unlike Part I for the PSP which i finished previously
Just finished Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Wow, that's one of the best games I've played in quite some time.
Just fought my way through Fallout NV: Lonesome Road
I may be alone in actually liking Ulysses as an antagonist, but you could tell they were scraping the bottom of the barrel for ways to challenge the PC by the endgame.
Decided to check out Lunar Knights, and watching credits roll now.
Gears of War 3.
Game of the year, wut?
Bastion Demo on PC. I really wish I had the full game D:
It was really fun. I love the soundtrack too.
SpaceGun - Master System
Splatterhouse - 360
I think it's a brutally great successor to the earlier games. :D
I FINALLY beat Megaman ZX Advent, it was decent, not a satisfying conclusion though.
