It's expensive and just not worth it unless you have a heap of valuable data on there you want to transfer to another ps3...this is mainly what people use if for.

I mean if you did get a fat at some point and it seems completely dead you'd be all like "man I wish I kept that psu so I could test this".
You aren't keeping the whole thing, the psu isn't massive. But whatever.
I had a PS3 that only had a dead disc drive and was otherwise fine but I already sent it to someone about a year or so ago.
If I run into something really cheap I'll pick it up.
I'd trust buying from you over buying something over priced from ebay again. I've seen a couple fats on cl that weren't too badly priced but I don't know about taking that risk again.Quote:
