Feliz Navidad Emuparadisers!! :santa:
Has anyone played D&D Dark Alliance?
Yeah I've beaten it. It's ok but nothing spectacular. It's quite a linear 3rd person action game. A bit of skill upgrading but not much. Fairly short too. Feels more like a budget/indy title. Comparing it to something like the modern AC games or even DMC (which I've never liked anyways) in terms of 3rd person action it doesn't come close. If you can get it super cheap go for it but don't expect too much. It's a bit sluggish too.
Ok thanks. Was wondering if it was worth installing on my PS4 :pirate:
No it's a recent game.
Dark Alliance from PS2/Xbox era is Baldur's Gate.
The game is like 18GB but the update is bigger than that.
Not that it takes all that long to dl from 1fichier but it's just where to dump the files :lol Need another ext HDD for PS4 backups as I basically filled a 4TB already.
idk exactly how many games are on there, I'd have to boot it up and count them. There's a fair amount there though plus updates, DLC and backport patches.
Looks like people have modded Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute (PS4) to add different games to the emulator.
Might grab Hitman 3 with some DLC unlockers, didn't realise it already had a BP. Already have complete versions of the other 2 games.
Wish somebody would BP Fatal Frame MoBW and some other games though. I suspect CoD Vanguard is a priority atm but I could be wrong... also GTA trilogy.
It isn't a new Saturn emu, it's just the really old SSF emu ported to PS4.
The mods are pretty rough atm apparently, just swapping out games for other games so the main menu etc isn't changed (but apparently those can be changed too... something about unity?).
Not something I'm really interested in... unless somebody starts making nice clean looking ports of odd Saturn games, then I might have a serious look.
there are console commands but they may not work on my version and could potentially fuck the game up. i did manage to get past the part I was stuck at only because I thought to try something based on a clue from the previous area. you really need to keep track of your clues cause they don't always get added to your journal and they also get wiped after completing goals for the area.
oh ok. so do you need a modded ps4 for this to work?
Yeah you need exploited PS4, but fw 9.00 is exploited now (and it's pretty stable apparently) so it should be easy enough to get a used console and exploit it.
Mine is still on fw 5.05 so I still have to wait for backports. I have never had any kernel panics and never had to restore my HDD so it's the only reason I'm staying with what I know works best :booger:
Plus side of fw 9.00 exploit is everything runs without backports atm. As I said it is meant to be heaps more stable than 6.xx or 7.xx exploit though, no idea if it's truly as good as 5.05 exploit
No idea. I haven't got RA on PS4 so I wouldn't know.
Gonna pick up a new/used pc today!!! Yay!
i5 4th gen and 8gb ram with win 10 on an SSD, plus room for my old drives.
I know it doesn't sound great but it's def a step up from my core2duo lol.
140 buckaroonies!!!
The N64 has aged horribly compared to the PS1. Although early 3D graphics have aged horribly in comparsion to today's 3D graphics.
N64 can only really be played on a huge crt, s-video is the better option (without mods). Even then, yeah I can't play as much as other consoles.
Welp got my new pc. Still screwing around setting things up the way I like it.
Tested Mario Sunshine out. Before it ran at like 6fps now it's full speed. Guess that's something.
Even through emulation N64 is something that is hard to play for a long time without causing headaches or some other type of strain.
I have a 4th gen i5 as well. They're a pretty good processor. If part prices ever come down, I hope to make a new build someday.
 :booger:
/poop
Steam and Humble Bundle should bring back flash sales.
