Depends on where you are I'd say, my town for instance is a shit hole, but I dont think the east of ireland is really advertised, with the exception of dublin.

I've heard nothing but good things about Galway or Donegal, west of Ireland in General can be quite nice.

Dublin is full of skangers too which doesn't help. :wacko: Wicklow and Wexford are nice.

and I thought the street lamp outside my window was bad. That would drive me mental, one year they got into my uncles chimey and they tried burning them out. I didn't see it but I heard the sitting rrom was black afterwards, they had to replace a load of stuff, carpet etc.
