global warming is caused by meat eaters?!:ahhh:
it's so damn funny the things people say on radio talk shows :lol
They're not wrong. Global warming has been caused by humans as a whole. One such participant is the commercial meat industry which over breeds live stock to supply the high demand for meat products. Live stock farts which produces relative amounts of methane gas that damages the ozone.
You're right though, talk radio can be fun to listen to.
there's something about the methane argument that bugs me. if methane gas really is causing that much damage to the ozone then wouldn't volcanoes be the number 1 contributor to the problem? unless I've been misinformed volcanoes spew tons of methane into the air during an eruption.
sterilization and 1 child policies:wacko: but in all seriousness I do agree with factory farming of animals(mostly because of the treatment of the animals) but you have to look at it from an economic perspective a lot of people eat what they can afford(that tends to be heavily processed meats and other goods)if you want people to eat less meat you need to make the alternatives affordable to people of all income levels.
DL, its whats for dinner. :really:

There are far worse foods to eat than chinese if you want a heart attack such as ANYTHING CANNED/PRESERVED IN THE GROCERY STORE.
seriously compare chinese joint food sodium content to a can of chef boyRdee.
Yes that is good, needs more veggies though, MUST HAVE A PERFECT BALANCE! :fist:
25% of our carbon footprint is cows. Just cows. Not including pigs or chickens. Just cows. And they produce methane, which is worse for greenhouse effects but shorter lived than carbon dioxide. So maybe investigate.
"Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet." —Albert Einstein. <-- see who said that? Smart people.
2 cats, Charlotte and Elsa.
Elsa is about 8 months old
Charlotte is licking Elsa
Me:"Yeah, lick that little pussy. Oh yeah."
I'm not a vegetarian. Meat is delicious on sublime levels. I agree with the Einstein quote intellectually, based on the amount of pollution involved from building farm equipment, making fertilizer, growing livestock, and getting the milk and meat to market. It also says to me that Einstein saw Global Warming coming about 80 years before anyone else.
I think we would be better served by letting most of the world grow wild. We need to get "corn as a fuel" out of our heads. It's as dirty as gas and inflates food prices.
On cats, my brothers friend told us about talking to his cats in a baby talk voice, "Who's a stupid kitty? Yes, you are! You're the dumbest little kitty ever, aren't you fucker?" and then leaves the house to see the neighbors on the porch looking shocked.
Humans, sucking the life out of the planet one step at a time!
WHERE IS SEPHIROTH WHEN YOU NEED HIM?! Attachment 46629
Intellectual people have often said stupid things, some people can be experts on one topic but know nothing on another, I'm not sure what Einstein is basing his ideas of vegetarianism but just because he said it doesn't necessarily mean it's true. I'm not using this as a platform to bash vegetaranism but perhaps don't use Einstein to make an argument for Vegetarianism.
