Nope. I just have noticed a lot of people letting other people's lives/emotions influence their own. It's going to wind up driving the lot of ya insane. As long as you're happy and those you truly care about are too, then why worry about anyone else?

Yea, its kinda as retarded as games on steam with GFWL Steam is its own DRM (admittedly the best out there for users) and they add more on like this crap :(

I almost admire people that can live like that honestly. Knowing what it's like to be in love or to have friends makes being alone infinitely worse. If all you've ever known is being by yourself you learn to live with it. True, you miss out on all of the great things that can come out of life, but you also won't have to deal with all of the bad things. Definitely not an equal trade off in the end, but I can understand it I guess. I feel bad for the people that are always alone, though.
