Yeah, it's a PC-only FPS that takes place after a nuclear catastrophe. So, pseudo post-apocalyptic in setting. Played it before on a friends comp, but just recently I acquired a comp that could run it decently. So I have started playing it again.

I've picked up a nice handful of sayings that way, and it made learning hiragana easier, but I can't stick with studying it long enough to actually make anything of substance stick.
I used to speak Spanish when I was thirteen but that's ALLLLLLL gone now :sad-no: I can read and understand some of it still, but listening and speaking? Not on my life...

Haha, you can't be serious?! Postal 2 is the worst! Except for peeing on yourself to put yourself out if you catch on fire. That was pretty funny.
The original was better by far though. They should have just kept with the same formula. Instead of doing a generic FPS.
Seriously, no matter how many machetes/Scythes/Katanas I throw, I CANT STOP DOING IT :awesome:
Postal 2 is awesome, so much to do, so many people to senselessly chop up into bite size chunks
I own the Anniversary box , pretty much the fudge pack but with extra stuff thrown in, it has some very nice looking mods too that are coming out .
Yeah, me too. I used to study Spanish too in high school, I barely remember anything now. I know a few words, but that's about it. Listening and speaking? Pretty much impossible.
Thankfully I watch anime and sometimes play JP-only import games, so I'm constantly exposed to the language. A good way of (permanently) learning hiragana and katakana is writing it down. Study them, then grab a notebook and keep writing the symbols until it comes automatically: if you have to stop and think for a few seconds while writing, you still haven't mastered it. I've learned it several years ago this way and I haven't forgotten it. And I have several A4 sheets filled with the stuff.
My dad recently asked me to talk to someone at a hotel for him because they only spoke Spanish, and I was just like, wtf you're kidding right? That was a decade ago! xD
If I sit there for a moment, I can recall all the hiragana, but it's like a five year old trying to remember the alphabet after having just learned it. And that's about all I got. That and "Where is the bank?" :lol
Interesting thing, this android shizzle
