It's really not meant to be on an hdtv...ever. The anti-aliasing issues are the big offender. I will in fact be playing the majority of my ps2 games on a standard def tv still. Really disappointing and the Xbox and Gamecube blow it away. The Dreamcast is also better. I have Sony brand "hd" cords so it really was as good as it could be. It's definitely playable for 2D games (they look pretty much how they should) but with the 3D games it's very hit and miss.

PS2 games are meant to be on PCSX2 on an 1080p monitor. Even an older quad core like mine will emulate that shit nowadays.
