New job, same ****.
nah, I get �7.00 an hour in my new job, which is basicly just an assitant at a shop. I get just short of �1000 a month, which is about $1800. Ive now totaly cut off the allowance from my parents, not that they werent going to do it anyway in time :S
I'm a bit worried about being tied to a job, though.
Well, I should be starting work with the Student Union bar as a CSI (lol not like the show, but I get a t-shirt with CSI across it) I'll be doing basic crap like glass collection, Stamping people in, and being behind the cloak room taking in stuff, I think its about �5 an hour, I'll probably be only doing this one or two or three nights a week so the most I'll be getting is like �60-�80 a week tops, then again this is only money to treat myself with, I got a grant to cover living expenses :P
well few days back i got job in a call center in a five star hotel here in india, it was a fucking job i had to call the people on their cell and make them buy them the discount cards of that hotel in india ... it was the horrible job... the manager of the hotel would tell us that today u have to sell 2 cards in 4 hours other
wise they wont let us go.. :sweat: :sweat:
but the pay was good they would have paid me 1260 Rs per week that was around 29$ :sa-smile:
the most saddest part is that i left the job the day i joined it :S
I basically electrocute fish and then net them for a living. I do fish surveys and collect genetic material (fin clips). The pay is only 9.50 an hour, but I get to work outside in some remote and pristine rivers (as well as some pretty trashed places)

i work as a project manager for a land surveying company. nice job, i really enjoy it and i am taking night classes to get the education i need to take the test to become a licensed professional land surveyor. I do Xbox call support. I sit around for 8 hours and ~1/2 the time I do nothing, and the other half I have to talk to stupid people that dont even know what xbox live is "they just gave there kids the credit card." $9 CAD per hour, and the full dental and medical should take effect soon. >.<
