Certainly not the people in Rapture Ready, and they're ultra-conservatives.
I am still waiting for a reply to the 30 questions, and those questions that hard to answer? And saying false info does not count. But people are defending what they do not know what it fully is. How can Muslims defend and want non Muslims to understand if they do not know what they are defending well and can not justify the action of what they are defending? Many people are willing to learn to understand but many Muslims can not answer, so if the email is not true the essence of it is, since I see it happening again in the post. So many chances to reply, and "many" are still waiting for a reply and are wondering if they will get a just answer.
Here is an interesting article Israel to Christians, Muslims, and atheists
http://www.spectator.org/dsp_article.asp?art_id=4233
"What is more, the Christian population of the West Bank is not being treated as hospitably by Yasser Arafats colleagues as, say, the Muslim population of Detroit is being treated."
"I know our government tells us that Islam is a very tolerant and pious religion, but I see many signs that it is neither."
"Against the will of Jews and Christians, who judge it sacred, and of archaeologists, who consider it worthy of careful study, these religious bigots are carting away tons of ancient earth to build a huge mosque for political purposes. They are defiling a sacred and archaeologically invaluable location on a 3,000-year-old site to establish a political claim to the site, and no one is stopping them. The desecration is not unprecedented. "
As many see and cant answer the Muslims build their holy on top of others holy places which does not show tolerance or respect for others and those are not acts of peace.
If you missed the point, it seems that the email is true in a way since the questions that were presented can not be answered, which that is what many see it as when they go unanswered.
They're not actually hard to answer jace, you can easily turn them around towards christianity.
you easily turn them around to just about any religion with the possible exceptions of buddism and native american spirtualism
If they are so easy to answer how come they could not be answered? Also it cant be used the other way since that is debatable and the ones that cant answer don't know the religion well or don't know history well.Quote:

Are you saying Muslims want people to not understand and not clear things up intentionally, and cop and out saying they can be answered without any good answer ever? One person tried to answer and he said inaccurate things. Do you want people not to know the proper answer if their is one???
People want to know and the so called people that say they can answer don't and then wonder why so many assume bad things about it? Either they can be answered of they cant, and not answer show.
Is O'Reilly wrong for saying this after reasing international reports?
Bill O'Reilly (April 7, 2004) "hot spots" where Muslims cause 90% of the world's conflicts by attacking non-Muslims - the Balkans, Nigeria, the Sudan, Egypt, Israel, Iraq, Iran, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. "And the list goes on and on," he noted
90% :o That must be fake right? And maybe conflict means peaceful and attack means interaction.
You know that even though they might not be too difficult to answer, who can be bothered to type up that much? I know people already answered some of them as well.
And fyi, all media is biased, so therefore unless you are getting information from a lot of different sources, your info is biased.
Well not to nitpick, but it seems that you base your facts off of whatever anybody says instead of investigating it yourself.Quote:

And I was most definately working on a reply since I don't know how many pages ago, but I just decided that it was idiotic even trying to talk to someone like you, you proved your closed-mindedness the first post you ever typed in this thread.
And right there I just stopped.Quote:
I'm not muslim, but lemme see if we can get your credibility back.
I don't think you should put yourself too high up on the totem pole when people who aren't into religion can't answer them. Why don't you read the book yourself, as many of us do with the bible to see what it says. After that, go to a Non-Abrahamic board that can probably answer this.Quote:

In a court of law, they wouldn't discuss religion.Quote:

Fine, then I'll answer some of your questions with other questions.Quote:
Like one of the questions were both Christ and Mohamed said to imitate them, but what Mohamed did you and the modern Muslim religion is against. I mostly hear is changing of the topic and dirty mouths and if that's the best defense how can you convince the world when you don't honestly know the answer and defend it without knowing it all?
Did Jesus have a wife, does priests engage in sexual acts, did Noah get drunkQuote:
1Did he have many wives even though the religion says not to?
I'm sure already one sees how, in history, christians, even most today (a good example is the Republican Party), ignore that rule in Exodus.Quote:
2Dent it says not to kill but in recorded history from the surrounding countries have that killed Jew and Christians?
Christians did the same, and missionaries today fit the bill of trying to convert people.Quote:
3Did they not enslave others and force them to convert?
Well there certainly is more than 2 versions of christianity. There are Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Coptic, Methodist, Baptist, Baptist Free Will, Southern Baptist, Disciples of Christ, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Church of Christ, Apostolic, Assembly of God, Christian Science, Full Gospel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nazarene, Pentecostal, and Seventh Day Adventist groups all calling themselves Christian. (Did I leave anyone out?) And each of these churches has "reformed" or "evangelical" branches within the main categories. Why are there so many? You all disagree on so many important issues, such as saints, the Pope, birth control, baptism and so on. If Christianity is the One True Religion, how can you not all agree on everything? If the Revealed Word in the New Testament is correct, how come no one knows what it says? Why is there not one, single Christian Church?Quote:
4You say the Koran says does not say kill, but sites that teach the Koran say it, so is their 2 versions?
Whether or not I'm Muslim, I'm pretty sure that a single site that claims it is part of a religion doesn't stand for all of it. It's just as much as a muslim site as http://www.fixedearth.com/ is a christian siteQuote:
Im back, I was away for a bit to reply.

Isnt it well worth to type up answers so that people understand it better? Isnt it a good reason to reply so that people understand so they wont attack it or defend it unjustly? The media is biased but the reports I say are from a while range of countries and news organizations which you cant say everyone is biased.
Eggo
Isnt that a bit close minded to not understand the other point of view and throw around the worked close minded? Open your mind to understand the other and stay on the question than getting off track since your questions did not answer anything. If the majority of the world wants to know why and you say people that the majority if close minded and cant answer anything then you are either encouraging them to be close minded in your view, or you don't know the answer and attack everyone. Its nice to know u try to answer but you cant answer them and we know that since not even many of the Muslim experts can answer which is why many government officials pay more attention to Muslim groups.
The ones that try to see everything as equal are close minded. Have you heard of the 3 monkeys of see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil? Remember some ideologies are not good and that does not mean that the people want to do bad but are mislead. If government agencies all over the world say the same thing and know more about it than the average person like you and I then does that mean we know better to say otherwise? Is their a global conspiracy? Come on lets not make conspiracy theories without any evidence which is why many say those things about the Muslim religion since there are no good evidences to defend it.
In reply to what you said.
The experts cant answer but you can try and going to try and get answer. They put so called Muslim experts on TV in a debate and they cant answer most of the question or get off topic like this forum.
Answering question with other questions shows that you cant answer the question. But ill answer your question since you want to know.
1 Christ did not have a wife, depends on what Christian sect if the priest has sex, but the original Christianity which Catholicism is not the priest do have sex but not the monks or bishops which they do not interact with the general public.
2 Again you cant generalize Christians since some Christian sects like Catholicism sometimes goes against what Christ said and their main language is not the main language of what Christ spoke. Its like having the Koreans having the main Christian sect even though their language is way off from what the New Testament was written in. The Church does not consider itself republican or democrat which is why when John Kerry talked about religion the republicans said he cant do that and the church said that he can so its not about sides. But the republican party does try to hold Christian values since the modern civilized society is made by those rules and countries with the foundation of Islam look like war zones like 3rd world countries and people do not have a lot of freedom.
3 If you believe Christ enslaved people then I know you are not just close minded but ignorant and you just like to talk nonsense. Even the bible says to lead the hours to water but don't force it and whoever does force is just as bad as the Muslim religion that encourages people to be forced. Like I said before depends on the Christian sect. I gave an example before about the crusades in why it happened maybe you missed it in how they didnt care for religion but used religion to get the people to act. Do you know that the catholic religion seems to be the Christian religion that says the most sorry to other Christian sects. Lol Its kind of like someone starting fights under your name even though you are against their action.
4 If you dad has 5 kids and all his kids act different, does that mean your dad does not know what he is saying since all his kids act different from what he says except one? Many Christian sects do not care for religion and do it for financial reasons to get a piece of the action. Some of the Christian churches so acknowledge the other as greater and are the same even though they have a different name, but the majority think like most that they can edit what they want and make up their own Christian religion. Religion is a big business and many want to get more people and the majority that are in charge do it for the money or they do not know and think they can explain things better. What is the right Christian religion is for you to research and if you do then you care for the truth and if you don't then you never did care so why get the answer? If you would like to talk about this more in private then send me a message.
5 you can search the other sites as well and not just the one I sent you. Or go buy the book if you want, the point was not about to see the site but to see the content of the book and if you want to go to Afghanistan and read a official translation then go their if you want.
:hotmad: it is this kind of remarks which make people from different religions go against each other. by the way i'm a christian and i also have many muslim friends. and i bet they can swear they have no desire to kill me...Quote:

No, you're not. LIAR I SAY!
I do think that the islamic belief is fucked up in several ways. More than the christian actually. Perhaps I'm simple-minded but I do find this pretty funny.
Edit: Dingy was too fast for me *wobba wobba*
