Thanks for your help. Unfortunately it is not the game I am looking for. I did play it on the PC with out an emulator. I also just remembered that your target was to pick up some sort of rock and drop it on some kind of pad...

Hi everyone, don't know if I'm in the right place but...
Recently I've began to emulate some old games I used to play when I was about 8 which means from 9 years ago... Mainly from the Super Mario series.
I remember I played some games that I'd like to play again but I don't know their names...
One was a 2D game about someone like a thief moving towards up (I think) to reach the end of the level. It was an old cartridge of the square ones for non-advance game boys. The "thief" was dresses in purple. Not Sly Cooper.
The other one was similar to a Super Mario, from that series indeed. I hardly believe this actually exists. It was another square cartridge loaded with a Super Mario with purple-like colors. Strange as f*ck, maybe a fake.
The last one is another Mario, but in better video quality and colored. Still a 2D game. Probably from the Mario & Luigi series.
ALL THESE GAMES RAN ON A GAME BOY ADVANCE AT THE TIME
Sorry for the grammatical mistakes, I'm not english.
Thanks!!

What region were the games from? If they had an Italian language option, they were probably PAL. The Gameboy could play games from any country, but some places got different or modified versions.
Maybe one of the Crazy Castle games? Different regions had different brandings and characters, like Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, or Woody Woodpecker.
I guess this could be Bug's Life, for the Gameboy Color? Or maybe one of the Warioland games?
When you say Mario, do you mean the game included the character Mario? Or do you mean the same style of gameplay, with lots of running and jumping (a "platformer")? The best looking Mario-series platformer on the Gameboy/GBC was Warioland 3.
There's also Mario Bros Deluxe, which was a port/remake of SMB1 that added a bunch of extra features. Not as nice looking as Warioland (or SML 3, or whatever it was sold as). Expanding that out to the GBA, you've also got the remakes of basically every SNES Mario game in the ridiculous order they were released (Which, IIRC was: Super Mario Advance 1 - which was Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Advance 2 being Yoshi's Island, Super Mario Advance 3 is Super Mario World and Super Mario Advance 4 was Super Mario Bros 3).
But its probably not the one of the Mario & Luigi games, as they're 3D releases.
The games were in Italian or English language so most likely PAL.
The second game with the thief had an underground setting, I think, so not a castle.
It might be warioland in the end. I'll check that out.
For mario games I mean games from the actual mario series, so for instance super mario bros 1/2/3, various mario land, ecc...
Thanks to everyone for the support

Alright, this is a long shot, but what I'm going to ask you people, is not a certain game, but rather a whole CD of them. It was about 10 years ago, the games were all made for the PC. I really loved to play them and still want to. The only thing I know about it, it had HUNDREDS of freeware games. The ones I remember names are: Pekka Kana 2, Rocks 'n' Diamonds, Mega-Bot, DX-BALL, Monster Frenzy, Bubble Bobble 3D, Generally.. I owe my life to whoever solves this case and thanks in advance.
There are thousands of freeware disc compilations (mainly because anyone could make them for, you know, free). Did this disc come with some piece of hardware or something? Unless you need this specific disc for some reason, you're much better off just building you're own compilation. It's not like you necessarily have to download each game individually.
It's not an easy find, but here is a website for this sorts of things. Loads of shareware/freeware stuff. https://archive.org/details/cdbbsarchive

Hello guys,
My name is Andy and i am trying to remember some old games I've played a long time ago. All of them are for PC. The post will be pretty long so bear with me.
1. Simulation racing game for DOS(90's). Probably it was Test Drive 1, 2 or something similar( not hard driving). It was coming on 5 or 6 floppy disks. I remember for sure the following aspects:
>> The windshield cracked when you had an accident;
>> The GUI of the cockpit was similar to Test Drive;
>> I remember some sections of several tracks. First track had a first left bend , At a certain point the track was climbing through a tunnel, afterwards it reached the peak (of the hill or w/e) and then it descended down to the finish line in several large chicanes. Last two bends were right and then left ( i remember some kind of buildings on the left side of the chicane).
>> The second track(the order of the tracks may be aleatory) was in a Funfair, Carnival park( there was a Ferris Wheel.) There was also one track from A to B (no laps) with a river on the left side in a canion... I remember for sure that i was able to jump into the water and sometimes cross the river without damaging the car.
>> This is all i remember about this one. I tried to find out the tracks on TD 1 and TD 2 but to no avail. I played it on 386 with windows 3.11. Certainly without cops.
2. Upside camera arcade game. Was somewhat a Clone of RC PRO AM. I remember the tracks were standard and simple. I remember all the cars were almost the same (maybe 2 different color patterns). The track had oil puddles here and there. The game was from a magazine - CD so probably not well known. That's all i remember. Possible power ups and weapons but not sure.
Thank you in advance,
Andy

I wanted to say that it is an upside view . It was something like the baja off road game, but it was newer and i remember that the camera was locked onto your car. ( you didnțt have a full view of the circuit). Anyway this i kind of a mini game so i am sure very few know of this game. Actually i am interested in the first game i asked in the post because i am sure that alot of people heard of it.
Lately an old DOS based game I used to play way back when I was just a little tike has been on my mind. I decided to try to find it myself, but I've had no such luck. I didn't know where else to go, but then I remembered about this place. I apologize if this isn't in the correct forum.
The game I'm looking for was a word game, though it is possible that this is just a part of the overall game. I remember a crossword-like gameboard and you had to put in the words onto the game board. There were green blocks that were worth more or something of the like. I think you were competing against aliens on some kind of a game show setup. There was the "host" that was a TV head on a human body. I'm afraid there's not much more I can recall. Well, nothing that would be of much use anyways.
If any of you know or find out what it could be, I'd really appreciate it. I feel like I'll recognize it once I see it.
I am looking for a platformer for Windows 98 ME 2000. You control a Lion and have to collect diamonds in africa or in an african-like world. There are animals who help you and animals who attack you. This game is really fun. I played as I was a little child. End of 90. It is more platformer like Spyro the Dragon. You can move freely.
I don't think anyone will find the game I'm looking for, but I'll try anyway.
I remember playing this racing game for the Gameboy about 7 years ago. The bad thing is, the game card i lost somewhere slumbering in the depths of my house. I tried looking it in Emuparadise's GB games section, but nothing reminded me of it.
I remember that there were various circuits and tournaments in the game. I think the first car the game gave you had a spoiler and that one of the cars with the best stats in the game was the Audi TT. Aas I said earlier, I couldn't find it in Emuparadise's GB game section. Can someone help me?
So the game i'm looking for is for the playstation console. Me and my brother used to play it a lot when we were very young, around 10 years ago. The game was split-screen playable, we played against each other, i was controlling a red robotic vehicle, and he was controlling the blue one. We were matched up in a huge arena where we were looking for each other to kill the other one. please help me!
OK I'm after the name of an arcade game that was a horizontal two player flying game.
Each level was a new era in history with Boss stages including an airship, a biplane, a stealth fighter and a space ship.
It's not Time Pilot either.
I guess I may as well ask.
I'm looking for the name of a video game for the NES (I think)…
The player controlled a tank and had to guard something (it looked like a bird of some kind, to me) from enemy tanks.
I think there was ice and power-ups, but I might be mistaken.
After recently finding out about this site and seeing so many old games I haven't played in forever this site is having me think about old games I use to have that I love.
This recent game I'm thinking of I think is a sea Genesis game. I remember roller blading and swimming through something like an aquarium. The character is a tall skinny guy with either crazy hair or a hat that covered his face. I can't remember much more about the game. I've tried doing image searches because I thought it would help but I'm getting nowhere.
SOLVED: turns out it was a skateboarding game not a rollerblade game
Never heard of dj boy. But all my searching was bringing up Skitchin' or that damn 7up game for some reason.
I haven't used mame in years and have lost all my ROMs. The one I really want to find was a japanese arcade version of tetris that talked as you cleared lines.
1 line = "Jin-goo"
2 lines = "da-boo"
3 lines = "trip-owe"
4 lines = "tet-ris"
Any ideas? Thanks!
Gotta love old CD backups...
Tetris Plus 2 (World?) by Faleco 1997
It sounds an awful lot like the brilliant video game "Daze before Christmas", by Norwegian superheroes Funcom, if you ask me!! Take control of me, SantaClausClaws, and watch me turn into Hulk Hogan after drinking nefarious coffee-drinks!!! Available in a chimney near you.
It has crystal stone bases, i think floating, kite shaped. The map is grassy sorta, u scroll left or right around the 2D map with your mouse. It can be for 2 players or singleplayer. You deploy troops. I think u generate gold or some points. One of the troops in ur collection is called "Newbie", i think another troop is called "Novice" A troop that shoots blue fireballs, female. A "Mage" or something that shoots Red fireballs. The first team to destroy the opponents crystal hovering stone wins. Also there is a last troop in the list called "Dreadlord" Carries 2 swords. It has a song i think called "Waterflame - Glorious morning". There is a troop also called "Ninja" wears black helmet, runs fast and knife attacks.
I have a game that I've been trying to remember the name of. Played it many years ago in an arcade on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. The game has maybe 3 or 4 colors to it......and all I remember is chickens and bombs. That's it......any ideas?????? I used to play this game quite a bit. Thanks in advance.....

Hi guys, I remember an old arcade game inspired to an old cartoon called "Gordian Warrior" but no I cannot find the game... someone know it?
I am looking for an old plastation 1 game. I don't know how it's actually spelled, but it's called ergies. It has the main character from final fantasy 7 in it, and if I remember right it's a fighting game. I played it on a demo a long time ago on the original playstation console. I would like to download the rom of the full game. If anyone knows where it is or how it's actually spelled so I can look it up, please let me know.
Also, I have tried googling ergie, ergey, urgie, urguy, urgey, and nothing has come up in results.

Hi to everyone, I need help to find a retro game. I've played the game in a computer in 1998, I think that was an emulated game. The name of the game in my PC was "Dino egg" or something like that, but I can't find the game with that name. In the same emulator I was playing twinbee, if some knows tha was the console emulator.
Is and adventure game. In the game you play with a girl dressed in pink and is carring an dragon egg in his back, which, with certain items in the game, hatches and grows until the child gets on the dragon.
Thanks to everyone.
I'd like some help as well
My dad used to pirate a lot of shit for me when I was growing up,
I'm trying to remember a game that featured some japanese~ samuraish~ guy in what seemed like some kind of prehistoric first level.

It was a 2d mecha fighting game and there's a robot that has a house per head and a excavator claw per arm. i know its not Cyberbots: fullmetal madness or gundam wing: endless duel, non of those kind i think. please help me!! :ahhh:
