My brother wandered into the launchers system files, overwrote all the image files with zero byte equivalents and set them to read only. So the poor thing had no ads to display, and couldn't refresh them :lol

Beat Wing Commander 2. I had to restart the mission where you launch in the asteroid field several times due to asteroids hurtling into me the moment it started -_-.
fingers crossed that open loader usb works, if it works well enough I might just forget about getting that 50pk of verbatim dvds I was looking at.
alright got it working, after I found out that split games go on the root of the usb and not in the dvd folder. I might have to check out some other games to see how well they work on usb now.
ok so I'm a bit disappointed here was testing guitar hero smash hits it loaded fine(better than expected actually) the intro plays fine, saving to mc is fucking slow so far that was the only bad thing
I go to play a song and find there's no music and it doesn't seem like the notes are working right the sound fx is still there but no music. I check the audio settings there fine I check to see if I was playing in the right mode which I was I even tried practice mode still no game music so after all this I check the compatibility lists
one of this lists shows it's compatible and with smb but doesn't specify if it's compatible with usb or hdd. all this effort to play 1 game guess I'll be ordering that 50pk of dvds next week.
If you have any thrift stores nearby you could poke around for a cheap ethernet switch. I've got a 10/100 switch I have no need for but I don't know that it would be worth it to ship :shrug:.
not really a big deal just bummed out. I did try another game (gt 4) just like the compat list says fmv stutters badly I couldn't even get to the main menu because of how slow it was.
I can get a 25 pk of verbatim on ebay for around $10.
Hmm wonder what GT 4 would look like on a 4k tv. As I recall you can set the game to 1080i. I don't have component input on my 4k though.
