Yaya and Angelina: The Spoiled Brat Movie
Watched Stolen with Nic Cage last night. I had never seen or read anything about this movie, so I would assume it was a straight to video flick.
It's awful - in fact, the movie has some of the biggest plot holes ever, and it's safe to say I've seen Sci-Fi movies that are more believable than this piece of trash. Everything about it just reeks of fail, and it's even directed by the guy who did Con Air and Expendables 2. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Don't watch this movie, please.
:o Never would've expected something like that from movie with Cage xD
Haha, Cage has done nothing but duds lately, and I didn't expect anything different from this one - but it was free and I've pretty much seen everything else I want to see that's available right now. I remember a time not TOO long ago that Nic Cage was a frickin' stud in everything he was in. Then National Treasure happened and it all went to hell from there
On topic though, I actually went to the theater today and saw Django Unchained. Tarantino just keeps getting better, and for the first time since Collateral, I really liked Jamie Foxx.
The movie is hands down awesome. Go see it.
Django Unchained.
It was everything I needed it to be.
:'( Better start saving up to see this lol. Always anticipating a jamie foxx movie xD
Eiga Kurosagi
Refreshing the memories
Watched the new Bourne Legacy movie last night.
Meh 3/5
Renner is fine as an action star, but this movie should have been a completely fresh story and cut all ties with the old franchise.
Wallstreet ('87)
Casino ('95)
Good stuffs
Watched Death Kappa last night. What a terrible movie...Imagine Gremlins mixed with Godzilla and Killer Tomatoes. Don't bother.
Now I am watching Black Rat. It has at least not started out bad.
Watched Arbitrage with Richard Gere last night. Pretty damn good. 4.5/5
First two Pokemon movies :awesome:
Dredd and The Fifth Element remastered.
Yeah, Dredd is ALOT like Raid Redemption - I enjoyed both, but Dredd less since I felt I had seen it before.
What I do find amusing though is a bunch of review sites (i.e. hidefdigest, thedigitalbits, etc) gave Raid mediocre reviews, but sit there and spew their pants over this Dredd movie. Sure, this Dredd is what the original with Sly probably should have been, but it's not exactly the bees knees when it comes to cinema. Probably just jazzed up comic book fans, or the same group of people that think Avengers deserves an Academy Award for best picture.
Dredd was alright.
Now watching The Raid: Redemption.
saw a short movie called The Dummy 198?. It's pretty good.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

The Thing (2011)

(2'5/5)
Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame (2010)
It was good.
(4/5)
The Iron Lady (2011)
Not bad...
(2'5/5)
Contagion (2011)
Good and bad things...
(3/5)
Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011)

The Lost Continent on MSt3k. I wasn't sure whether to post it here or the show thread. Oh well. I recommend any Mst3k ep.
Enemy of the State
Zero Dark Thirty.
Just finished Jack Reacher.
From Dusk Till Dawn :top:
Mama.
Children are terrible.
Looper, was a great film, but don't try to over-analyse the time travel logic too much.
Saw Django Unchained earlier today. Really liked it. Probably not as much as Basterds, but still. Christoph Waltz was just fantastic, as expected.
Yep, absolutely fantastic flick.
Here's what I've seen in the last few months:
Django Unchained - for the second time. 5/5
Flight (2012) - Fantastic movie - 5/5
Seven Psychopaths - 4.5/5
A History of Violence (2005) - 4.5/5
Eastern Promises (2007) - 4/5
Cosmopolis (2012) - Ugh. Had it's moments, but it was pretty bland, especially for a Cronenberg movie. 2.5/5
The Hobbit (2012) - Meh. 3/5
Promised Land (2012) - 4/5
Wreck it Ralph - 2/5 - started out good with lots of game references and retro stuff, but then turned into a typical Disney movie. Too predictable. It's a real shame Pixar didn't do this - would have been much wittier.
End of Watch (2012) - 3.5/5 - Way better than I thought it would ever be.
That about catches me up.
Sherlock Holmes (2009). It was fine.
Taken 2 (2012).
Silent Hill Revelation (2012)...ok, but not as good as the first movie imo.
The Man With The Iron Fists (2012)...terrible :lol
A Good Day To Die Hard and The Bourne Legacy.
Also...
Doomsday (2008).
Finally watched Argo - I've been meaning to watch this ever since it was in theaters, but never found the time. I thought it was a good movie, but for all the ballyhoo that it's been getting in the media I found it to be pretty undeserving of all the hype.
Django should have won best picture IMO, but I guess any movie that has balls to be original and different scares the "Academy".
