Absolutely, although the best way to level you up is to trigger playthrough 2.5, but we wont be able to do that in a night I think, so one of the dlc's is the way to go, Except the moxxi one, dont even know if you get experience from kills, so yeah.

Or you know if you want we could do the main quest n playthrough 2.

Well I was getting loads of experience from the enemies at the end of the game. I'm pretty sure that area would get me to level 40 pretty quickly.
