Afterwards attemtpted the Whole 10 yards. The key word being attempted
Went home for the holiday and had to go rent a movie for the parents to watch. They're Tom Hanks fans, so I rented Extremely Loud, Incredibly Close (knowing it wasn't received too well, but whatever) mainly because it was something they had been wanting to see.....
Fucking awful. I'm leaving it at that.
Batman Forever

Recently watched The Campaign. Was a bit different from what I was expecting it to be, but I enjoyed it. Can't remember the last time I've seen Will Ferrel in a movie. I got a few laughs out of that movie. I heard that Miz guy from WWE was in it, but I didn't notice it

---All this week---
Watched Savages a few nights ago. It was alright.
Went and seen The Hobbit in 3D. It was alright I guess. Kinda boring, a bit like a musical with everyone singing, and definitely not epic. All I could think about towards the end was how bad I wanted to get out of that damn theater chair.
DISH network ran Jurassic Park and Lost World in HD last night, and I ended up getting engrossed.
JP is still a pretty good movie - it actually holds up really well (CG wise) for being a 20 year old move (I remember this in the theater - I'm old), and the plot isn't bad but it is full of inconsistencies and there's some pretty dumb stuff that occurs. Either way, still entertaining after all these years.
Lost World on the other hand is total shit. I remember going to see this in the theater when it was released and I hated it then and have managed to not see it since. Since both movies were back to back last night, I kinda felt I needed to watch LW again just to see if it was as bad as I remembered. In short, it was just as bad as it was 15+ years ago, and I can't believe Spielberg actually directed it (not that he's done anything great in a long time, but whatever). I hate to say it but I think JP3 is actually better than LW, and that movie blows chunks as well.
JP - 8/10 (if you can transplant yourself to the early 90's when CG was just emerging, you can't go wrong with this one)
LW - 3/10 ("That is one big pile of shit" - the only redeeming factor is Jeff Goldblum. If you don't like him, don't watch this movie at all)
Repo-men,Vanilla Sky and Inception. :dizzy:
Finally got around to seeing The Hobbit. Pretty good movie. I am so ready for the next one.
Lord of the rings trilogy (now will watch hobbit today)
Mission impossible all 4 movies
Barfi
Saw The Hobbit the other night.
Man was it long, I think I'm a little more sympathetic to splitting it up into multiple movies now.
A side from small nitpicks, I thought it was actually fairly good.
Intruders (2011)
Good and bad things... specially bad directed in some parts.

Kamen Rider Agito: Project G4
The Hobbit(1977)-The animated movie. I remember watching this when I was small (probably 5-6). This brings back a lot of good memories.
Watched "Trouble with the Curve" with Clint Eastwood.
I like Clint, but he's worthy of much better material than this, especially since he didn't direct this one. It's not awful, but it's really predictable and felt like a Hallmark movie. 2/5
Also finished up both seasons of Black Lagoon (Anime) - Really enjoyed this one... dark, violent and no filler material to stretch out the seasons. Good stuff 4/5
