I'm now also reading George Orwell's 1984, on an assignment from my English teacher. I am to read this, and then make comments on contemporary society... in speech form. It's as if she thinks I'm good at this stuff or something.
Recently I read the back of a Cereal Pack
What I really Read: Computing Concepts with Java Essentials. 3E
Pfft, kid reading.Quote:

Kiss-Jill Mansell, nice insight on a rock star's life.
The 5 people you'll meet in heaven, Mitch Albom-not as philanthropic and preachy as it sounds. Pure fiction
I'm reading Forgotten Realms: The Dark Elf Trilogy. I love fantasy.
I just finished George Orwell's 1984 (I can't believe it took me this long to read it!) and David Boaz's Libertarianism: A Primer.
Next on the list is John Stuart Mill's On Liberty and George Carlin's When Will Jesus Bring The Pork Chops?
I like to think I'm an avid reader; mainly contemporary fiction. I have roughly 300 books in my room, I think.
Disgusted with the run-of-the-mill fantasy genre, I gave high fantasy a try and am liking it very much. George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series is a great read. It's got a plethora of characters and political intrigue. It isn't your typical "quest" fantasy series. I recommend it if you're tired of generic fantasy authors (read: Brooks, Jordan, & etc).
Will do. ^_^Quote:

Still reading it, actually. And, I have a new history book waiting for me when I finish that. Guns, Germs, and Steel, by Jared Diamond. I've heard it's good, a history of the world. I don't know how exhaustive it is, considering it's a few pages shy of 500, but it should be an interesting read, at least.
The Bourne Identity
The Bourne Supremacy
The Bourne Ultimatum
notice a pattern here?
It appears you like Ludlum.Quote:
