Damn it all. I just went to the local mall here looking for a gamecube, which they have plenty of, but of the 3 gamestops and the sears, none of them have a gamecube memory card! I only got ten more stores that I can check, and if none of them have one, I have to get one online. This sucks.

On a somewhat related but not really note, They have a 64MB Mad Catz Playstation 2 memory card for sale at circuit city for $35. Anybody think it's a good deal?

the normal PS2 memory cards are 8MB. If worse comes to worse, I may take you up on that offer, since i'll need one for my gamecube after i get it.

Also, anybody know where I can get a decent DVD recorder? I want to be able to record some videos of gameplay.

How'd you calculate that figure? The tower is 65536 unreal units tall. According to this: http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/Unreal_Unit
An unreal unit is 3/4 of an inch (I just did a basic test in Deus Ex based on character height, the scale is the same). That makes the tower 6826 feet tall. :3

assuming it had a x = g*t^2/2(no wind) fall the tower would be around 9188ft(re doing the calculations its more like 11664ft) tall with a 27 second fall.

assuming your 6826 ft, with a 27 second fall... you would be falling at an avaerage of 252fps... approximately 170mph... err a little bit unrealistic huh?

thats why my figure was off..

Totally watchable but still slightly grainy (of course the vast majority of youtube gameplay videos have that problem....)

I'd give it a pass.

Well, I always safe it, placing it in the middle and hitting it forward. Problem is, if you place it "almost, but not quite in the middle" you won't be able to make the shot. So, yeah, takes training, I suppose. :wacko:

i usually hit it safe and it goes about 3 ball lengths above the hole on the second bounce.
