I agree, it really wasn't funny at all but that's what I liked about it. The ads totally made it out to be a comedy, almost slapstick, so I avoided it. Turns out the movie is actually pretty dark..... it's just too bad the ending was so weak. The movie had a lot of promise until the third act when it turned into a monster mash/super smash bros brawl cg action event.Quote:

Watched The Raid and The man from Nowhere.
Both pretty decent movies. Quite enjoyed them, I would certainly recommend them to martial arts fans :D

watched the Signal the other night. Not very good. i only watched it because netflix recommended it after i watched Pontypool, which wasn't exactly awesome, but much better than Signal.
Saw Battle Royale last night. Very good movie.
