I try and only play games that interest me, which helps with the completion aspect. Even in the games that I didn't entirely enjoy (Fallout 3 and Bioshock, for example), there was enough there to keep me just barely interested for the :platinum:. For FO3 it was watching people explode from overpowered energy weapon attacks, and for Bioshock it was the story (I couldn't stand the UI in that game).

Otherwise, if I straight up cannot get into a game, it doesn't get :platinum:ed. Crysis probably won't ever get finished, and I'm not sure if I'll go back and finish Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I can't stand the combat system in that game. I've always enjoyed the Prince of Persia games where the environment was the biggest enemy, and combat just took second wrung. I think that's why I enjoyed Sands of Time and POP2008 so much.

Other than that... I just have a lot of free time and like hearing that "ding" when a trophy pops. Gives me wood, man. :nerd:
