How'd you fix it (using the disc)?
I just put it in the disc and let the installation procedure run and then use the recovery option. It managed to fix the problem itself.
I was pretty frecked out I say. I have so much data that I desperately need to backup but I'm too lazy. Screw ZoneAlarm! >:|
I stopped using Zone Alarm a few days ago. I haven't looked back.
Sygate Personal Firewall for the win.
Well... I don't think so. It just said that XP could try to repair the installation if I push "R" and so I did. Voila!
Sygate eh? Might have to check it out. On my old computer I used Kerio Personal Firewall. I found it rather good. Opinions?
Well I've only ever used two firewalls.
And Zonealarm's had to have been the most basic, and piece of crap I've used.
It blocks FTPing with Xbox, it blocks filesharing with the Xbox, it is just generally crap.
Sygate Personal Firewall, when configged right lets you do all of that ^ Plus it's a lot more secure.
& The 2 firewalls I've used are ZoneAlarm free, and Sygate's.
I'd go with Sygate any day.
Mkay. I'm gonna run without one for a while but eventually I probably have to get another one. Sygate sounds good so might go with that one.

Not another Broly?
As polo would say, this needs more Borli.
