Well yeah that's what I did. But I didn't spend that much, it was a long time go so maybe it isn't as big a difference as I'm thinking (taking inflation into account) $2000US is more like $2600au atm though.

It's not a hard number at this point. I've not done any serious looking into things since it's a ways off.
Seems to be around what it would cost for a good pair new or potentially very good used.
Well back then Richter speakers performed just as good as speakers worth twice or more. The JBL's I looked at were way more expensive but they were just physically larger and had more low end, but that can be compensated for (if you want) by using at least one sub (or 2x Yamaha like I have). The Richter mains I have still sound clean.
Ok after some reading I could spend 2k au and easily get better than these now, they aren't worth all that much really. But back when they were new you really did have to spend more than 2k to get something better.
 But I wouldn't spend 2k on a pair of speakers not even now.
It's something I'll look into more thoroughly when I have money set aside for it .
Goodnight :wav:.
:wav: Later dude.
 wish I could have slept for another hour.
I paid €150 for Mackie CR4s about six months ago and I really like the quality and look of them.

Might see if I can setup King's Field PSX trilogy properly on my PS3 at some stage.
There are Japanese PSOne Classics releases I can use as a base.
Already have Shadow Tower running but that's an official PSOne Classics release.
I think Dark Souls can be injected, but afaik Demon's Souls can't and no idea about DSII.
