Are there not any guides like that floating about the interwebz somewhere? I haven't even bothered to look, I don't particularly care that much.

I pretty much button mashed my way through the whole game though, I'd have to like, re-learn how to play, in order to do any challenges. :wacko:

I actually don't have a single platinum.. Closest I've come are FFXIII and RE5. With RE5 I just never got around to finishing things up, and with FFXIII I just lost all patience farming the necessary gil at the end of the game to do what little was left to do.

I have Dirt 2 and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. I'm extremely close to the :platinum: on Mafia II, I just need to collect 150+ wanted posters and I can't be bothered.

And I'm the same now really, I only complete the games I truly enjoy, NFS Hot Pursuit and Dirt 2 I absolutely loved to pieces.

I have completed some other games on my last ID: NFS Undercover (terrible), SEGA Megadrive Collection (Very easy), Terminator Salvation (Shit and easy), Call of Duty World at War (Very fucking annoying platinum.), Resident Evil 5 (Which I do intend to redo since I've done it so many times now I know the game like the back of my hand...)

I actually enjoy the trophy collection a lot, but some games just have all too grueling objectives.. FFXIII in particular - it's pretty ridiculous how much of a pain it is to earn gil in that game, and without gil you can't hope to defeat a lot of the optional bosses\enemies.

Most of the ones I missed were the ones where you had to line up the question marks and such.

For games I really love, having trophies just gives me incentive to play through it again. No matter how much I loved Dragon Age, I may not have gone back with a second character to make different choices and such if there wasn't a list of things to complete encouraging me to do it. At least not right after I finished my first playthrough.

And now that we're talking about RE5, that reminds me that I need to PM Tan.

The closest I've come to platinum is in Prince of Persia, I'm 5 trophies off I believe. I've got a ton of games at 10% or lower because I don't care :wacko:.

The only time I get trophies is just if it happens, I don't bother with going out of my way to get them. Usually I don't even look at what the requirements are :P.

I had that happen to me my first semester here. And it's not like I'm on a nice uni campus where I can find other things to do, and I don't have a car here so I can go grab lunch or something. So terrible.

I can't wait until I can finish school. Then I'll have much more time for Lovecraft with all my nursing textbooks out of the way. Though lately I've been spending all my free time playing on the PS3, and only reading when the power is out or something. :wacko:

Also, I just checked my account and found out that my financial aid refunds were finally processed today.

Other times, the trophies are just completely ballshirt.

KO'ing all henchmen at the end of Batman is pissing me off now. I'm tempted to just forget this trophy even exists and move on to fucking Joker up. >_<

I'd consider that one somewhat reasonable. The POP series typically has boring final bosses. Several of them are closer to puzzles or QTE than actual fights. Unless, of course, the boss ends up being one of those where that's fucking hard to pull (fucking empress of time).

I spent about 3 months solid (8hrs/day) playing CoD 4 to get where i am today in terms of first person shooters.

If i have to re learn how to aim because some company made their shooter badly, it's not my fault, it's theirs.

No patience with mouse acceleration/smoothing in a PC shooter, none whatsoever.

I had a 5 hour gap between classes once, I just went home and came back up.

Takes me about an hour to get home from uni, then another hour to go back. Not worth it. :wacko:

So, I can either try and take on a million henchmen for a stupid bronze trophy, or I can go inside and take on two titan henchmen and a ton of normal ones. RAGE FUCKING QUIT.
