BUNNY OVERLOAD
Spoiler warning:
Boy, Prude's gonna be mad when she comes back after 43162 hours of looking and reads the above post.
Pretty much the same, graduated high school a year early. So I'm doing almost nothing at all, been applying to jobs, but not really getting any positive results. Since I have a lot of free time I've taken up learning Japanese since my career will probably grant me at least one year in Japan, if not more(will probably have to learn Mandarin for the same reason). Glad to see you guys haven't had anything negative happen over the past few months since we've last talked.
I'm planning on going into the field of TESOL. A local university offers a degree program for it and forces you to take an internship in your last term or two, and judging from the information I've found on their site, a high majority of the internships are international.
Much better. :]
Well, I guess I'm eating every meal at Taco Bell for the foreseeable future.
Geez why are other people trying to help out in EE :fist:
:P
:gnight:
From the looks of things you get to choose the country, but this is just judging from things I've found through the school website googling and stumbling across the classroom pages. They all seem to be fairly well paid internships also, so that's always a plus. I'm assuming the country I choose and get experience from would make it easier for me to find a job in that country since the field is mostly about international teaching :P.
Yeah I mean, when my step-bro was applying recently (couple years ago I think) he had all kinds of experience and it took him over a year to get a decent job. It's gotta be even more difficult for someone just out of HS I'd think. Good luck.
Tell you what...if I win 2...:revwacko:
Even applying for places like warehouses for stores hardly get any results. It really sucks, I feel so unproductive just sitting at home teaching myself something(using online resources ect). I can't get into the University yet since I didn't take my SATs before I graduated so I have to do that sometime soon. So I'm stuck in this cycle of feeling like a failure while praying I hear back from almost any place I apply for a job.
I was trying to be nice to lil Sprung.
