Do you mean Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott?
Published in the 1800's and it really isn't difficult to read dude.
I would've easily been younger than you are when I got my copy of it.

It shouldn't be too difficult to find this in a second hand bookshop somewhere :booger:
Another book you may possibly want to check out is The White Company by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
I read that around the same time I read Ivanhoe.

Still got both books, older hardcover editions.
They still give it security updates but thats about it, It was a good os but really it needs retiring. Its multicore support is not very good, its lacking DirectX10/11 and a whole bunch of other things that have now been the normal with even vista. Its not to say I dont like XP, I Do but its had its day people just wont let the old thing rest.
However those with weak machines that want Windows 7 look into "Windows Thin PC" its an official MS Release of a super slim version of 7 designed for older hardware
One thing that XP still has going for it: it's easy to be non-genuine without any messing around.
