Not bad... and I don't like country music

Jack-o: Gypsy suggested this movie. It's a terrible movie that's so bad it's good. It's a movie about a pumpkin head demon guy that stalks people. You have to see it to believe it.
Under Siege .
Thinker Tailer Soldier Spy, I watched this week. If you like movies with double agents and deep investigation, you'll like this one. Although there isn't a lot of action involved and a lot of talking is done throughout it's a good movie.
I went and watched Reservoir Dogs recently, and I have to say it's not quite as good as many friends have stated, but I still think it deserves:
(4/5).
It isn't a perfect film, and scene chewing is only good when done by a very few actors. None of them is in this film, though.
The Last Exorcism (2010)
It wasn't bad at all, but the last minutes ruins all the movie...
(2/5)
'Scalene' and 'Rare Exports'...both worth a dl, for sure..
Found them both to be grand, well-made films.
:4x:
Watched Battleship.
Besides the CGI it was pretty bad really (good CGI is standard fare, so overall not a good flick).
Also watched Lockout.
I wasn't expecting much from this one...but besides some CGI early in the movie that seemed borderline B-grade, I actually thought it was acceptable.
CGI later on seemed ok.
It isn't a long movie though.
It's possible I thought Lockout was ok overall because I watched Battleship beforehand
I recently watched The Fifth Element.
It's kind of a weird sci fi movie with Bruce Willis and the guy who plays Bilbo in it
Super 8 (2011)
It started good, but it could had been better...

I agree to a certain extent... I really enjoyed it because it reminded me of a new age Goonies movie, and I've seen it a few times and yes, there are flaws, but at the same time people don't make movies like this anymore.
Anyway, I just watched Scott Pilgrim and I can say that I was really surprised by it. I had no expectations whatsoever and knew nothing about it, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommended for any video game lover!
The big problem is that you can compare it with the Goonies, and for me the Goonies is a better movie. And as I said Super 8 is not bad is just that the last 30 minutes are not as good as the rest of the movie.Quote:

Larry Crowne (2011)
It was good.

Average.

Just saw Hunger Games....
Waste of 2.5 hours, and it's totally the "Twilight" of the survival movie/dangerous game movies. In other words, garbage.
Didn't read the books and don't care either..... if you wanna see something with kids massacring each other on an island go watch Battle Royale.
I never had high hopes for it, but I was bored and decided to watch it. I'd really be angry if I had spent money to see this thing. You just can't make a movie based on The Most Dangerous Game, and have kids killing each other and make the damn thing PG-13. Don't get me wrong, an R rating wouldn't have saved this stinker either.... it's just one of the MANY faults of this flick. It's amazing how this dung heap made almost $700 million.... the general public is easily amused.
I just saw The Dark Knight Rises. The fighting was very good. Any one who likes fighting should see it. Though, don't get your hopes up about blood and gore or realism.
Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior.
Technically I listened to it, but still watched it in a weird way :)
Expendables 2.
I had multiple orgasms.
Cabin in the Woods

Johnny English Reborn.
Rather funny.
Funnier than its prequel. :)
Arthur (2011)
It wasn't bad, but the original is a lot better.

Ironclad (2011)
Really poor and bad directed...

Beginners (2011)
A sad movie indeed... with good acting.

Resident Evil the first movie :/ The first is not good but I can still bear it but the new ones are like a smack in the face.
The Avengers. A little like the Hulk himself, really: big, dumb, one-dimensional and irresistibly fun. ^^;;; I don't know why it took Marvel so long to get Joss Whedon onboard for one of their movie projects, because there could hardly be a better man for the job. I don't think it has much substance compared to Nolan's first two Batman movies, X-Men: First Class, the first Iron Man or Spidey 2, but it's got pretty much all of them beaten in terms of pure popcorn munching fun and cute one liners. And for a potentially very silly crossover movie about a bunch of superheroes getting together to stop alien invaders, I don't think it could be much better. Impressed!
God Bless America

Great movie! If you liked Falling Down watch this!
Watch The Campaign last night. The laughs were consistent, though I expected the satire to have been more scathing seeing as it's an election year, after all.
Just watched Wonder Woman. That was simply the most well crafted animated film DC has ever made. It was really good. o_o I was so surprised.
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
It was really entertaiment.

Margin Call (2011)
Very good acting.
