Probably common for many people to receive a console at a birthday or some other event during the year.
the nes, or actually a black market famicom imported from japan and locally translated and moded some of my favs were excite bike, mario bros (ofc), 1942, ice climbers, and a few others that i struggle to remember their names i was like 5 at the time
My dad had a nes when I was born, the rest is history

Amiga 500 my brother had (that was later mine when he got the PC) I suppose, Superfrog, The Settlers, Pinky, Theme Park and others. Also "european" NES called Pegasus and classic games like Super Mario Bros and Battle City.
I honestly can't remember, most of my childhood is foggy and vague except for occasional moments of clarity.

The game "Simon" was the must have electronic game that year so Mom got us "Merlin". It was 6 in 1 computer game thing with a "Simon Alike", 21s, tic-tac-toe, "mastermind alike"

I started playing atari in an arcade in elementary school.
Real love came with time, as we are used to say it for humans. my love for vodeo games is the same, from just a "time passing by", I'm still in it like never before. More the time passed by and the more I love video games. Now I can hardmod a console, repair computer, know much and better informatics, and I am proud of myself. I found a community within' video games, with much more kind than any other I found.
