The Legacy deck I'm using has a 2 card win condition and both are 5 cent cards. Surprise factor runs rampant. Once the decks are known to both players the next two games are very different and mind games run high. It's pretty fun and after g1 more interactive.

Was a weird game. I whiffed on a Cabal Therapy then later flashed it with a Cephalid. He got somewhat land screwed for a bit. I ended up hardcasting Karmic Guide to start swinging him down. He started to establish better board position but tapped out so I tutored for the Triplets and cast them next turn. He conceded because he couldn't remove them and I would just combo next turn for the game and he couldn't shoot off his Crypts.

Well it's Dredge type but w/o any cards with Dredge. He was running some black/green/blue weird control shit. I think there was blue anyway.
So I play some vintage games with a guy and I'm trying out some new fangled vintage shit, top decks really. I lose the first 2 matches 2-0 then I switch to and old ass control deck and win 2-1. I think the newest cards in it are Mirrodin block. Gimme some turn 1 Sundering Titan + Sphere of Resistance + a Strip Mine boo yah.
i play mtg frequently, currently play fnm( friday night magic) and in release/prerelease tournaments regularly. i was wondering if you could give me more details on this cockatrice thing. it looks interesting but idk much about it even after reading the site. btw i run a black deck w/4 phyrexian obliterators one of each, sword of feast and famine, sword of body and mind and sword of war and peace. as well as batterskull and spellskite. it is a really fun deck.
I'm super happy jace and stoneforge got banned too lol. lets me do better w/the obliterator deck. I run a lux cannon deck too it is quite fun, destroying all of your permanents is a real blast.
Imho Lux Cannon is too slow. Even w/ Surge Node. And yeah Black is good. UB Control, MB Control, MB Aggro, BR Aggro are all viable right now. Phyrexian Obliterator + Lashwrithe goooo.

Personally, I keep winning with my G/B Infect deck simply because no one sideboard's against Infect, even though it is as easy as Melira, Sylvok Outcast. Glistener Elf + Putrefax FTW.
